I apologize, this is my first time using the forums but I am trying to figure out if anyone else is having this issue. I have updated my game and when I started it up, the reaper awards event was acting like usual. I completed the first entire quest but the cooking quest disappeared after I completed the other one and hasn't come back so I can't complete week 5. I've restarted my game and tried to repair it with no luck. Is anyone else having this issue?
Okami5482 colej67 Try deleting accountDataDB.package, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. This file holds data from sets of tasks you've started but not finished; it doesn't remove your progress from any set of tasks you've already completed.
If that doesn't help, please post in this master bug thread:
Include the information requested in the first post on page one.
xX_TheRobster_Xx Since Playstations don't have a corresponding file to delete, please just post in the master bug thread.

This worked for me. I was having the same issue (on PC, mods removed due to yesterday's patch) and had the event glitch out on the cooking step. The information was still there when I clicked the rewards popup, but it was grayed out, and the task list was gone. I had tried cooking several foods, but nothing helped. I tried cheating my Gourmet Cooking DOWN to 7, as that is the level the original task asked for, but that didn't help. Your suggestion of deleting accountDataDB.package worked! It took a few minutes in Live mode, but the tasks popped up, and I was able to complete them. Thanks so much!
Edit: fixed a misspelling

Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!!! I've been struggling to finish this week's event. Deleting accountDataDB.package fixed my game and allowed me to finish week 5.

I do not have this file, and I have the same issue in week five. Now week 6 has started and I am afraid to miss out on the event :( any other suggestions?

483d9d2363caacc9 Are you sure you're looking in the correct location? It would be directly inside "The Sims 4" in Documents > Electronic Arts, but you could be in a different Documents folder. Here's how to make sure you're in the right folder:
