If it's any consolation, you're one of many affected by this issue, enough that EA may relent and make the rewards free after all. I don't have any information about that, just speculation, but I would hope that the large number of affected and upset players has some influence on decision-making.
It’s so annoying though, because there’s like a million fixes for pc but nothing at all for console. I even tried deleting and reinstalling the game but it’s taking forever because I own most of the packs 😔
