Relationship decay

My sims have been married for a while now but i keep having this same problem. My sims will have romantic interactions that go well and earn relationship points, however my relationship bar will appear red and not pink. Every time i eventually get their relationship to a good point again, the relationship disappears after a day. Ive tried repairing my game etc but i keep having this problem.
