Repeated Crashes

It’s getting to the point where playing is becoming so frustrating due to all the crashes I’m experiencing! I play on PS5 and currently I’m having to save every few minutes to ensure I don’t lose progress, which is a slow and infuriating process in itself! I’ve been playing using the same save file creating a forever world for years so starting over a new save file isn’t really an option I want to consider. 
The game consistently crashes when saving, it crashes when I’m trying to travel anywhere, and it crashes at random intervals. 
I keep hoping that with each update and bug fix that it will get better, but it only seems to have got worse since adding Adventure Awaits and I’m at a loss at to how to fix this.
