Retail and restaurants still not showing in owned businesses panel

I have several sim families in multiple saves that own retail stores and/or restaurants and as of 28 June 2025, these GTW businesses are still not showing in the owned business panel, despite the fix that was said to have been made for this issue.  The lots show as owned in Map view, but when the retail/restaurant panel is opened for the owner family, it says none are owned. I cannot access any of the management functions of the business panel. When I have the owner sim travel to the lot, I receive a last exception or error message. The owners of retails stores are able to "open" the store, set items for sale, restock, interact with customers and make sales, however no funds are added to the business account. I am also not able to transfer funds from the household account to the business account. Sometimes multiple NPC employees show up to work even if the store does not currently have employees. I was advised to sell the business and re-buy it immediately, it does not fix the problem. I have also tested this both with and without mods installed, in brand new saves and in existing saves. I cleared the cache, I repaired the game and everything is up to date; still the problem persists regardless of my efforts.  I am a Mac user.
