Romantic Relationships decay/become negative fast with no interaction

I think I may have found some kind of solution. I’ve tested this out for about 1 sim week and about 3 separate game sessions. I clicked on the sims in the romantic relationship and disabled attraction for both. The romantic bar hasn’t moved at all. This seems to be working so far. I’ve traveled around and switched to several different households.

    Update: this seems to be working still. I was able to get my sims engaged then I waited just in case… then I was still able to get married and then have a baby. So it’s working for me as of now.
