So there's been no response from the team on this after nearly a year. I guess they're not planning on giving a fix or workaround for this issue. Meanwhile, Lovestruck continues being nearly unplayable for rotational players because for some reason Romantic Satisfaction is designed to decay even for couples in which both sins are inactive, which makes absolutely no sense. I recommend rotational players NOT to buy this pack unless you want to spend 70% of your time fixing relationships and dealing with bogus moodlets and fears as a result.
You are exactly right about that. I was working to troubleshoot an issue I needed to report and had to go into two of my rotational households to try and gather some additional information and they were both wrecked!!!! I am talking perfect relationships, no jealousy or squabbles. Both couples just madly in love with each other. Usually always four wonderful sentiments regarding each other and deeply in love. Not anymore. The complete disregard for the work we put into our households just floors me. If it can't be figured out or fixed I don't see why a complete decay block couldn't not be implemented across all played households when they are not the active household.
Expecting me to go in and fix their relationships and deal with the lost sentiments and deal with the fears that have popped up is too time consuming and unacceptable. It is not like I have a single household. I have many. My time is valuable and we have to work to have the money to pay to play this game and playing a game should be fun and instead I find myself more furious the deeper I get into playing because I come across more and more stuff that shouldn't still be sitting unresolved after so long.
So, I am going to withdraw my pre-order purchase of the fairy pack and will not spend another dime on this franchise until problems are being attended to and communicated about in a timely manner, especially on an issue that HUGELY impacts our games.
These two were complete strangers and she ran into him while he was working. I think he literally quite his job and walked out and then very quickly he went right back in and proposed to her. They never ever kissed. I have never seen such a thing in my sim life. And they have been together ever since and sickeningly happy and in love. Now that is lost and "I" have to try and get them back to where they were. But why? I have other households I am working on and this is just going to happen again and again and my time is going to be wasted fixing mess after mess.
Sorry for the rant but I was trying to troubleshoot something and ran into this right and left and finding these two this way just killed me.
You know as mad as I was I had to check other households to see how bad the damage was. Plus I built a second floor at Planet Honeypop just for Diego Lobo who is the husband in my main household. I haven't played them in a good while. So I go to their house expecting the worst, only to find they are not home and their location shows as Planet Honeypop. It doesn't get more real that that lol. So I select him and it loads me in and he already found the second floor and was getting his groove on while his wife laughed about him enjoying himself so much. I had to figure out how to record a video in game because I never have and it was just too great. This couple seems to say that no bugs are gonna rain on their parade lol.
Anyhow, this gave me hope and I wanted to share.
