If i give my sim an action/task (for example, taking a shower) the action/task just stays in the waiting line for minutes and they don't respond to it even when i set the speed to 3x. They don't do it directly, only after a few minutes.

Bonjour, j'ai exactement le même problème, ici j'ai un nourrisson et pareil quand je veux lui changer sa couche, donner le biberon, mes sims ne le font pas immédiatement, j'ai une file d'attente d'action et ils restent planter devant le nourrisson. C'est embêtant de pas profiter de son jeu à fond.
I try to get my sim who is a fairy, I try to get them to do certain things like go to bed, have a bath etc and she just stands there and do nothing. Not sure if it is a bug but I have noticed this has been happening for a while. I have save and exit the main menu then I come back and she is fixed temporarily. It happens again after 10-30 mins. It is getting annoying because I need her needs to be fixed but she refuses to do so. She also tries to go to the bath automatically but it does not work. She is able to go into the fairy house but that is about it.
Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- Does this happen both on human or fairy form ?No mods or CC and it happens to both. Not only that it has been happening to several sims, sometimes when I invite them over or do an event.
This has been happening since the last BG update for EBN for me. They just stand there. And it doesn't matter if you speed it up, you just waste more time.

The game is unplayable with this glitch
I tell them to knit or cook or literally anything and it's never completed the tasks are just queued for age's. I will not be playing until EA has fixed this problem
I started a new vanilla save (no mods or CC) after the EBN patch and I am also experiencing this lag between asking a sim to do something and then them actually doing it. One of the sims is a spellcaster but the other two aren't an occult. I do own all the packs and play on PC.
This is what's happening in my game too. I reported it here as its own thread, but for some reason my report was merged into the general lag thread.
