Sims 4 Bug: Sims Resetting During Romantic Interactions

So i just switched families and I think it's literally just those two sims for some reason

I have a similar issue…just one couple, can’t get the bug to go away.

I'm still having this issue (Have been for a while) and it's always after I age them up from teens to young adults (separate families coming together) I had it at first where they were teens dating in the same household but not the game has added a "super sibling" trait or something like that if they age up while in the same house (this never happened before until recently) I haven't found a way around it unless I delete the family and redo EVERYTHING. which is annoying to do it every few days to every week. (I just want to get the teen traits naturally!) I do not use custom content or mods most I use is the "motherlode" cheat and some skill cheats but that's it. I would really love to not have to delete my family and restart EVERYTHING over again and again and again... 


if it helps I also:

• Cleared the game cache (deleted localthumbcache.package, cachestr contents, and onlinethumbnailcache contents).
• Verified the integrity of the game files through Steam.
• I reset the sims by using the control panel and shift clicking.

I’m running the latest version of the game with all the expansion packs I own. I even turned off my VPN to see if that works.
