Sims 4 bug?

Hello,

I’m having an issue with The Sims 4 on my PC after the latest update ( i updated it August 30 ) . At first, all of my custom content disappeared, it came back after i restarted the game.  However, now whenever I try to resume my saved game, the following happens:

  • It takes me to the world selection screen, even though it should just take me to the point where I last saved.
  • I select the world I was playing in.
  • I click on my household’s house and press “Play.”
  • The game loads for about 10 seconds, but then it takes me back to the world selection screen again.

I tried clicking “Play” on my household multiple times, but it always sends me back to the world selection screen. Idk if that makes sense. I never had an issue updating the game but this time i have. Could you please help me fix the issue?

    Returning to the world select screen is a mod issue. Put your mods folder on your desktop and load your save. Exit without saving your game. If you got past the world select screen, you now have to go through your mods and figure out which mod is causing the problem. Most of the time, it's a UI mod or a .ts4script file. Have a search for both.
