Sims 4 PC bug issue

I have been playing sims 4 for the last few days now. I have noticed that anytime I write a book, near the end of finishing my sim will stop and will not resume any books. I have multiple books that are unfinished and unable to complete. It is preventing me from getting my best selling author aspiration. On some occasions i can finish a book but would go back to the same issue on the next. This has even occurred after I did something else for a while, no writer block is showing. I have quit the game and come back, same issue. Going on another lot also does not work. I just want to finish the unfinished books. Thank you for your time, happy holidays.
