Sims eye shape changed/Eyes don't close

We need to keep feeding this thread to keep it going. We can't give up until this bug is fixed. 35 votes isn't enough. We managed to get 300 votes in the first thread, which prompted the developers to "fix" the bug with the eyelids not closing during sleep. We must continue. 

Hello! My sim's Eyes are open while they are sleeping. Is there any way that you could fix that?

I really hope the absence of this on the latest laundry list is an oversight. It has been 7 months and we seem no closer to getting a fix. 😞

I'm just worried that having different bugs in 1 topic is a bit "chaotic"? But I still hope all the eye bug (especially the animation one) will be fixed soon.

Easily one of the more disappointing laundry list... That says a lot 😑

This is outrageous. I'm disgusted. 

Come on guy. This bug, and the other eye bugs really need to get fixed, including the occult eye bug. The romance bug also needs to get fixed because that is a game breaker as well. I want to get back to my sim story. It's so long now that these bugs haven't been fixed. Also, the laundry lists seem to be very short in general. You are introducing more bugs into the game than fixes. You need to hire more developers on the bug fixing team. TS4 is already broken with many things not working, and these bug fixes are taking too long, and the again, the laundry lists are very short for these two month waits.

What even makes this worse is that not a single critical eye bug issue has been fixed in all these months, not a single one. Also, the very short laundry lists are just showing how bad the whole situation is getting in regards new content vs bugs.

There are packs that are for sale, and they are completely broken. For example, For Rent. There is a horrible bug that is corrupting your save files. I can't express enough on the romance bug as well. Your sims lose relationship status at a very quick level. The laundry lists show that there is not enough developers on the bug fixing team. Why aren't they hiring more people? They want to continue on with TS4, but everything is just breaking. Almost every forum post about TS4 is someone creating a post about some kind of a bug affecting the game.

I was checking out the Inzoi discord channel, and apparently they will be introducing weather right in the base game, and the developers seem to communicate with their fans. We don't get that here, which also another concern. You have fans, you should be communicating with them.

As much as I want to continue on with my Sim story with TS4, it's just not possible with these critical eye bug issues and the romance bug. How much longer do we have to wait in hopes for a fix?

When Inzoi comes out, I am going to give it a test, and if I have to, then I guess it's time switch over. I don't want to, but I don't have any other choice.

It’s now Feb 25, 2025 and the eye shape bug is not fixed 

I hardly dare to believe it, but I just updated my game and the eyes of my sims look much better when sleeping now. The sim with eyelashes only has a tiny bit of his eyes showing, whereas the other sim who doesn't have eyelashes actually has his eyes closed. Could it be that they did fix it?
