It happens maybe half of the time on any size or type of painting. They will place the canvas to start a new painting and then the action will disappear without a noticeable glitch to the sim. They just stand in front of it and the action is gone.

Could you please provide the following information
My sims canvas is blank when painting and finished painting. It only shows the actual painting when in the sims inventory. I use mods but none that would impact this. It started after purchase/release of Enchanted by Nature.
Please test your issue on a vanilla game
To verify on a vanilla game, move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the following files from your user folder.
- localthumbcache
- Any lastException Files
- Any LastCrash files.
Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.
I do not have mods and I am experiencing the exact same issue. It sucks because I enjoy painting on the sims 4 a lot with all of my sims. I know it sounds weird but we all play our own way. I have to keep clicking for my sim to paint and sometimes when it is finished the painting is blank. Meaning I cannot sell it, display it, nor paint it. I know it occurred with the last update because I am a frequent player.
It happens when I play different households and saves.
With every single Sim or just fairies ? There's a known issue for fairies with their wings out.
are you still having issues with this ? Does it work with a non-fairy ?
Could anyone confirm if you see this for non-fairies or fairies in human form ?
