Sims standing around when not given a command (Autonomy on)

Could you please provide the following information

-  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
- Do you have autonomy checked for all Sims ?

I do not download mods; I am on a pc; yes, autonomy is clicked for all sims (the game isnt fun at all if i have to make them do everything) I just had this happen again with another household.

I merged your post with the thread on Sims not doing stuff on their own with autonomy checked then but to be sure, do they not do anything at all or just not take care of their needs ?

Can you send your save to EA as asked in the first post ?

I am currently having this issue after the last update (12/02/25) and after obtaining the new Spongebob kits. I sent you a message including the link for a game save created specifically to show this issue. 

My Autonomy is toggled on and I don't have any mods or cc.  I've tried with multiple Sims, multiple saves and neighborhoods and my Sims will no longer do anything unless I make them. I've cleared out cache files. How do I fix this?

I'm playing a household with 5 different sims in it, so I can't manage all of them at the same time and they are often left to take care of themselves and do their own things while I'm controlling a different sim. However, when I leave a sim to take care of themselves, they won't address their own basic needs and occasionally they won't do anything at all and just stand there for hours on end (although usually they're just watching tv or some other equivalent). I often have to go around to check all of the playable sims in my household just to make sure that nobody's about to starve to death or pass out or something. It's kind of annoying and stressful to be playing and then have to double check that none of your other sims are trying to kill themselves while you're playing a different sim lmao

Also is this with or without mods/cc ?

My sims will not do ANYTHING by themselves even though full autonomy is enabled. I have to get them to do everything. They just stand there miserable because they won't do anything for themselves. I've even made a new save and the same issues are there. They don't even pull out there phone to look at it. 

My only two REBORN sims did same things like you.

1.If there is no friend around  REBORN sim(asleep or weak relationship), sim does nothing except sitting or standing, until need bar very red(other sims resolve need autonomously when bar turns yellow).

2.If not, sim keep talking or chating with others, until need bar very red.

I start a NEW game in same savedata(Why? because EA, your horse was gone in new savedata), after griding of the trait of REBORN. Sims still chat until bar very red.

And dont ask me stupid  CHECK? question because of your silly bug.
