Sims won't interact with objects or each other

I tested your save game and all works as expected for me.

Could you post a video of what you are seeing ?

I agree that what I'm experiencing seems similar to the post you linked. I can't post the recorded videos here for some reason so I just messaged you a link to a folder with another save file and the videos I got of the glitches.
