So long and thanks for the fish

If anyone gets the joke I left in the title, congratulations you are an old sci-fi reader. Bless you and your wisdom. But seriously, the game is not letting me fish in Island Living. I haven't checked other locations yet, but if it's not working into two different fishing spots in one location, I can't imagine it working anywhere else. I've done all I can think of to remedy the problem on my end. I tried repairing the game twice and checked on my mods for any repeat downloads or outdated ones. Nothing came of it and I still can't fish at the fishing spots. Has this been an issue for anyone else? Is there anything more I can do to try and fix it on my end?
