The pop up that is shown after receiving your first promotion with a message with promotion tips received from a co-worker sometimes fails and does not appear in the Stuck In Their Shadow Scenario, even though there is NPCs in the Tech Guru career at the beginning of the game. I assume that the pop up may conflict with Lewis's call that occurs almost simultaneously approximately 1 hour after Nova returns from work.

Yes, it's about the pop-up with career promotion tips not appearing. The first scenarios, called Welcome Scenarios, which are Stuck In Their Shadow, New in Town, Parenting Predicaments and Family Fortune, are like an extension of the Discovery Quests because they have an educational role in, for example, how to make friends, a Great Friend and a Romantic Partner, how and why it's good to improve social skills and what they are, how to plan an event and how to make advance preparations for it, how to get in and out of a job, get promotions, resolve conflicts and enemies and so on... All of this is helped by frequent pop-ups. If one stops appearing, it's useful information that you won't learn. If it was programmed to be there at that moment and it stops being there, I see the situation as a mistake. The call from the school inspector in the Parenting Predicaments Scenario, for example, does not occur at the same moment in the gameplay depending on what day and time it is within the game, but it does not fail to occur because it is an event that is fulfilling its script programming.
