Teleporting infants

Okay I'm not sure if this is for everyone or if it's just a me issue but so far I've encountered this in a couple saves and this one happens very often in my current save.

Basically I have a family right now with an infant and anytime I leave the lot with one Sim and come back the infant ends up somewhere off the lot and we're not talking on the sidewalk outside the house either like a fair distance away. And yet whenever I leave the lot the infant is in the crib, I always make sure he's in the crib before leaving.

This issue is really annoying and common to the point I've started clicking his portrait to find out where he is and often he's away from the lot and it's so bad I've decided to hold off on the current event until he ages up into a toddler just so I won't have to deal with it.

Is anyone else dealing with this issue?
