Tend garden not applying for houseplants

I play on PS5 - All Packs, games, kits & content - latest update is installed.

My sim checks her plants but even when houseplants need maintenance I get the pop up no plants need tending. I would love if we could get this so the tending automatically works for indoor plants too not just outdoor ones.

At the moment I have to select "maintain houseplant" on every single one for my sim to look after them!
