Terrain paint disappears after leaving lot

I have this, too. It happens when I use CC paint, but not in Henford-on-Bagley. That's all I know, so far.

I build a house, and the landscape paint disappeared after I saved my game am I the only one with this issue

This is happening to me without leaving the lot or reloading the game. It seems to be getting triggered by switching to a second type of terrain paint, then pressing undo. If I undo with multiple types of terrain paint on the lot, it will just delete all of the terrain paint rather than undoing my last stroke.

The terrain paint often disappears after going to manage worlds, traveling, or saving it to the gallery, even when you've saved. I often do my terrain paint, then save, and when it's done saving it's gone. I spend so long doing terrain paint, literal hours, and then in 4/5 cases it disappears. It's so frustrating. Please fix this 🙏

Same issue here. Fresh save, all packs. Even a clean install of Windows. I build on a lot, save and go build on another lot, come back from said lot, and notice the paint’s gone from map view. I head back in and yep: the paint’s gone.

This is frustrating enough that I just went back to TS2 and 3. At least I know those games won’t erase my hard work.

Same happened to me in Willow Creek, managed worlds shows my terrain paint when I go back in (currently renovating lot) it’s all disappeared. I’ve not noticed this happen before. I have used 3 terrain paints all base game terrains. The lot is Magnolia Blossom and I have only used base game and debug items on the lot. Please help

I just noticed this too. I loaded in to a lot I had been playing on a couple of weeks ago and the terrain paint is now missing.
