Sim travelling in group by default

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• Do they travel with you right away or join with a delay ?
• Can you send them home and if so, do they stay home ?

I do have mods and have turned them off and still the same issues. They join right away. I can send the sims home, but not the dogs. 

Since the most recent update I've had this costant problem that when traveling with one sim, the whole household automatically travels with him even if I didn't select them. I saw online that many other people are also having this kind of problem because of the new update. Can this be fixed?

I have had this same issue as well recently, it's as if the entire lot is selected to come with my sim, where they have fame, no fame, whether it's an Infant or Adult. Anytime I travel with a sim that has household members, Including pets, are all following me to any lot, community or home residence. Babies and pets are stuck in hold or a crib will appear somewhere on the lot if it's an infant. 

(Ex. Sim 1 went to work at the film studio and she has a pet and an infant at home. When arriving to work the pet was equipped to hold. During work, she kept trying to care for an infant I couldn't find, and as autonomy was on she was constantly looking to care for the infant. I then found the infant in between a fenced off area as if it were randomly placed anywhere on the lot.) 

It is especially difficult to manage for sims with households of 2 or more, household member follow the selected sims to High School, Work, Dates, Community Events, and Private Events. 

Sending them home should not be the solution, this bug is definitely overwhelming so I do hope it can be resolved!

So, my Vanessa (yes, the NPC since my Sim is romancing her to marry her) is a vampire and an actress (obviously).  One of the two aspirations (I think World Famous Celebrity)  requires her to get asked for selfies etc.  Because of that, I tend to go "bar hopping" from one world to the other - the idea being I see different sims and sim types.  For some reason, I keep getting the bulk of the sims that were at the other bar(s) even though I'm only moving Vanessa herself.  The kicker:   Other celebrity figures show up anyway and sometimes the game is taunting me because one of the other NPC actors get asked for a selfie.  I don't believe it's supposed to work that way and especially with other celebrities (several of the NPCs show up at once) showing up to "compete" to get that progression part done.

Feel free to change the title for whatever best fits for it.  It's just a bit annoying/frustrating that basically same NPCs show up and follow you when you go from one world spot to another so you can't get the World Famous credit despite only bringing the one sim that you need to get the credit.
