When I disable the discovery quests I still get the scenario's pop up. Not only once, but it keeps cycling through all the discovery quests, instead of showing them once.

Where did you turn them off ? In the save game your playing or from the main menu ?
Try the save game. Also try turning them on and back off.
I first turned them off from in game. After this didn't work I tried restarting the game. This also didn't fix it. Now I have the discovery quests back on. Which works like normal, so after deleting the scenario it doesn't come back in my save. This is way better than the constant scenario's haha
you mean like you are playing a scenarios with your family and that gives conflict issues with the discovery quests or did you remove the the discovery quests that appeared ?
Just making sure where term-wise on the same page. Scenarios are the ones you can pick from the main menu like Aliens stole your parents and the likes.
