After I updated the sims I have been unable to select traits in cas even after removing all my mods and deleting and reinstalling the game

This is happening to me too and weirdly enough only happens whenever I start a fresh new save without mods. This has been happening for months and is absolutely game breaking. It is actually wild that we have not heard at least a public addressing of this issue online or in the laundry list. It is time to fix this Sims team.
It says needs info. What information do you need? I took out all my mods. I repaired the game and started a new vanilla folder. I went to CAS and refused to use the story creation tool. As soon as I did that the trait boxes disappeared as displayed in the screenshot in the original thread.

I‘m also having this problem.
I already updated my game and my mods however nothing is working at the momentI'm also having this issue. I've repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted weird files, and have no CC or mods.
I have the same thing idk why tho it’s annoying
