Vampire facial features keep disappearing

I just updated the game and I'm still having problems with the vampires when editing them. Once I finished modifying them in CAS, all the physical details I added for their normal form (fangs and eye circles) are erased when returning to live mode. Why didn't anyone from EA take action to solve this problem? If they don't fix the problem I will never play the Sims again.
