Wont try for baby or woohoo

My Sims were highschool sweethearts, now they’re both young adults and they won’t woohoo or try for baby. I’ve tried everything, moving the bed, trying on different lots and checking in cas, but all their preferences and romantic boundaries are correct. I’ve also tried it with other households, and with them it works. It’s sooo frustrating since I’ve used so many hours on these sims. I’ve heard other people having the same issue and saying they just installed the lovestruck pack, which I also just did. I’ve also tried removing all my cc, and it still doesn’t work. Everytime I click on try for baby or woohoo they talk about it and get exited, then they gin romance but then the action just goes away and they won’t do it.
