Woohoo and divorce interaction keep canceling

My sims started their relationship as teens and it continued once they both aged up.They are both young adults and are married now. Everytime the woohoo or try for a baby interaction is tried they talk and get excited but the interaction cancels before they actually woohoo or try for a baby.I also tried to make them get divorced I get the notification that they are getting divorced but it never actually happens.
