XBOX cannot rotate in build/buy after copying an object after july update

In build mode, if I copy roof or stairs (have not tried with a room), I cannot rotate the copied object, instead the top menu toggles to the recolour tool and I get an error that the item cannot be recoloured.  

It seems like the controller buttons have been remapped, but don't match the on screen guide on what the buttons do.

I'd much prefer to be able to rotate copied items than toggle to recolour.
