So I just downloaded the sims 4 game and it was working fine at first but it's doing something strange. I tried to create a new sim besides the first one I created, every time I try to create a new sim I click "save" and then it's in the process of "saving" but it takes forever like it buffers. I know it's not supposed to take 30 minutes only because the first sim only took maybe a minute or two to save and to be placed into my game. I've tried repairing it, that did not work. I've tried creating a new game and it just did the same thing, it allowed me to create a new sim and it took a minute to save and be placed into my world but then when I try to create another sim it buffers and when I tried to exit out of the game it won't let me so it becomes stuck and I have to force quit on my MacBook just to get out of the game. Everything else seems to work fine it only acts up when I'm trying to save a new sim and put them into my world. The game launches and existing saves load, but the game gets stuck on an endless loading screen when I try to save or move in a second Sim. I've already repaired the game, reinstalled it, cleared the cache, enabled Full Disk Access, and renamed the Sims 4 old folder.
