Since the last DLC Update I can't connect to EA.
When I start the game Iit says "Connecting to EA" but nothing happens and the login dialog is not shown.
The only thing I can do is to skip the access and play offline.
I'm running on PC-Steam.
After discussing this issue on the EA WRC official channel it seems that I'm not the only one having this issue.

I had same issue, here's what worked for me:
1. Steam > Settings > Storage > Click on 3 dots (...) > Repair library
2. Go to EA WRC in library and verify integrity of game files
3. In your file explorer go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\EA SPORTS WRC\WRC\Binaries\Win64 and launch game from EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher
After doing these steps I was immediately able to connect and play, and can launch game normally from Steam after doing it this way once. Hope this helps.

I've actually verified the intergity of the game but I've never launched the game from EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.
I'm trying today.

Yeah, Viewtifulchief's suggestion doesn't work for me either, unfortunately. Also hoping for an official fix soon.
A guy called f4zyon over on the steam forums pointed out that turning off two-factor auth fixed it for him, and it worked for me aswell.
There you go EA, let us know when you've fixed this wonderful, obviously highly prioritised, game breaking feature, hopefully within the year 🙂
