Game ruined after July 10th update
My whole game my world, my towns my sims my creations are all gone after the update automatically last night around like 8pm now when I open it the game it’s a bunch of random sims in the picture and it says new game, my packs I bought are still exsisting, my mods for sims is still existing, now I’m very sad please fix my game I miss all my sims i made.also the stuff from my gallery not online gallery is all gone too it’s like the game just got rid of everything of mine that I made , especially my sims their all gone the characters I made.
Anyone Else Having This Issue?
I have tried everything and this has to be an EA problem. I have removed all my mods, an updated them and it has not been fixed. I also haven't see anything mentioned of this in the Laundry List they have. I cant interact with anyone, cant do my Legacy sims because it wont let me select anyone and I have to restart every time this pops up. Please help. I wanna play may game
Crafts Not Counting Towards Aspirations/Career Tasks
Hi there, I've started to have this problem of where when crafting items that I need in order to get promoted in a career or for aspirations, my crafts don't count towards these. I've crafted probably 50 elixirs/cures by now and none have counted towards the new Naturopath career (I think that's where I needed to do this). I do have mods but they are 99% CAS/build items, and have the most recent update. I have every Sims 4 pack there is if that is helpful in any way. Thank you for any help or ideas.
Shiny and pixeled Sim -Enchanted by Nature
After purchasing Enchanted by Nature my sim turns shiny, much like the skin overlay that was added. (Or they actually look like one of those mimes out on squares acting like a golden statue that you can have your picture taken with for a small fee.) I have not added the skin overlay in CAS and this usually happens after I have played for a while, half an hour or so but if I restart the game it turns back to normal. It often happens when my sim is energized but not always. My sim is human, not a fairy if that matters. I have tried playing other old saves but it is not happening there, just the new one. I have a few mods but they have all been updated. (MC Command, TwistedMexis betterbuildbuy and UI cheats extensions.) Another thing that also happens and this happens also only in the new save and straight away, not after playing for a while. My Sims gets all pixeled when I move the camera slightly away. It only happens to my sim, not the townies. I have a very high end gaming tower with a good graphic card etc. so I know that is not the issue. (Also as I said, just the new Enchanted by Nature save is affected.)game shutting down (during build mode)
ive not done much gameplay since the update, mainly cas and build mode, and this is an issue ive only encountered in build mode (also i play on a laptop, on laptop mode, in case thats relevant) randomly (i haven't noticed any pattern in the timing), my game has been freezing, cutting to black, and shutting itself down. first, it was when i was placing a cc item, so i didn't use it next time (or since). the next time it happened, i can't remember what i was doing, but there had been a BE exception report about a single gameplay-related package file that apparently had tuning issues. i had been thinking i could postpone sorting it out bc theres no way a single package file not even in use could be an issue? but i redownloaded the mod since i wasn't sure if i had the most recent version. i got the same exception report, the game shut down again, and i removed the mod. just now, with a fully fixed, up-to-date and glitchless mods folder (if some duplicate cc, but thats always been the case and i can't be bothered to sort it out (but actually while im here if anyone has an easy way to sort that out that would be nice)), i was just moving the camera around, inspecting the build that i am redoing YET AGAIN, the game shut down. i wasnt placing anything, deleting anything, or actively using mods that i havent used before without issues or potentially broken mods. i was literally just moving the camera, and the game freezes, the screen goes black, and im back on the steam page. i am going to lose my mind if this isnt fixed soon. i haven't been able to find anyone else with this issue so it might just be me, and if it is if someone could offer a fix i owe you my (sims') life also gonna note my game has been taking unnecessarily long to load occasional things to the point where ive had to force quit the game with task manager, and when i try doing the same things again they dont take nearly as long. might be related but idk
Sims suddenly have new tattoos?
Game: Sims 4 Installed Packs: All but Batuu, For Rent, Lovestruck, and Kits Where Does This Happen?: CAS & Live Mode Modded?: Yes I have no idea how to really word this, but my Sims suddenly are just growing new tattoos. I had a Sim who had zero tattoos because she was meant to be the opposite of her grunge, uber-tattooed wife, and now she's COVERED. Wouldn't be too mad if I could remove the tattoos, but I can't. I go into CAS, I remove the tattoo, I switch to a different outfit to modify something, and the tattoo reappears! I don't want my Sims to suddenly decide they need face tattoos!! This happened to her entire body. No tattoos, then suddenly I couldn't remove her new tattoos that she decided she wanted. No clue how this happened, what caused this. I removed all my mods and played vanilla to see if that would fix it, but it didn't. Please help.
Full CC Folder not loading on MacBook Air M2
Hi there! I recently got a MacBook Air M2 and downloaded the sims 4 on it (I used to have it on a Dell PC.) I also transferred all of my save files and cc from the Dell to the Mac by thumb drive. Upon starting the game, I noticed that not all of my save files, nor my cc, were loading. I made sure that I put everything into its correct folders, troubleshooted the game, repaired it, followed the posted procedure for cc (disabling iCloud document sync, etc.), but nothing has really worked so far. How can I fix this issue?
All inventory in storage items disappeared
Platform: PC Mods: Yes Game version: 1.116.223.1030 My sims were on vacation in Selvadorada when the update and the expansion pack were rolled out yesterday (July 10). I closed and saved my game, then updated it when the update and pack became available. When my sims returned to their home lot from vacation, all objects that can contain inventories (the fridge, storage boxes, flower arranging table, gemology table, fish tanks) were empty. They had *all* been full of items before my sims left for vacation and before I updated. Please help, this is a legacy and I have lost so much. The attached image shows the mods I use that have the word "inventory" in the name.
