6 Month Wait to Relink Account
I have paid for a lot of DLC for the sims 4 on steam. recently I created a family account on steam so my daughter could play games too. I didn't know that EA was even more greedy than I initially thought and that they have blocked any kind of family sharing in the hopes that you buy everything more than once. I accidently linked my daughters steam profile to my ea account not realizing that all my DCL would be blocked. now after spending days with "support" who cant actually do anything and just keep saying "try to understand" over and over I am told to wait 6 month to access content that I HAVE PAID FOR.Solved12Views0likes1CommentDon't have access to my previous email
Hello! I want to change the email address on this account because I no longer have access to my previous email address. I don't remember exactly why I created the second account, but I mistakenly linked it to Steam. Since I don't have access, I can't unlink it because the code was sent to that email address. The account is linked to my Steam DanteSparda (if you need additional Steam account information, I can provide it). [Moved to EA App EN. I’m not sure what’s going on, but for the past two days I’ve been having trouble accessing parts of the forums. When I click on my notifications and the page redirects, it fails to load and instead shows an “access denied” or “page doesn’t exist” error. As far as I know, my account is in good standing, and I haven’t received any violation notices. The issue is inconsistent; sometimes I can access the pages, and other times I get the error. I did clear my cache and cookies a few days ago, and it seems the problem started after that, though I’m not sure why.55Views3likes5CommentsVerify on recognised device not working

As of recent international decisions, the sanctions and restrictive measures previously imposed on the Syrian Arab Republic have been officially lifted. Accordingly, I kindly request that EA review and update its regional restrictions to allow Syrian users full access to EA services, including account creation, online gameplay, and purchases. Currently, many Syrian players are still unable to access EA platforms or use their accounts due to the old sanction-related blocks. Since these measures are no longer legally applicable, I respectfully ask that EA remove the regional ban and restore service availability for users in Syria. This change would reflect EA’s commitment to fairness, inclusivity, and compliance with current international regulations. Thank you for your understanding and consideration. I’m currently unable to recover access to my EA account and need assistance. An EA Support agent asked me to complete the account recovery process by launching an EA game on my console and following on‑screen prompts to update my email, password, and phone number. However, these recovery steps do not appear on my console at all. I have tried this with Apex Legends and Jedi: Fallen Order, i do not own any Fifa games or Sports games made by EA so this is very difficult. I have all log-in credentials necessary other than access to my actual Gmail account and phone number where the verification codes are sent. As you can see below, i have access to my PSN account (which is linked to the EA account) and i am logged into Apex Legends without any trouble.29Views0likes1CommentEA NextStep, a step back
I am starting to think that they know what they are doing, seeing that the forum was the only resource that popped up when I was researching a problem I was pleasantly surprised to see a "contact us" button at the bottom of the support page. Now I was fully expecting an AI assistant, at least before speaking with support staff or having a ticket created, but what EA has created is well beyond any other assistant I have ever had the displeasure of navigating. Every single prompt from EA NextStep comes with little to no regard of the information you entered into the window previously. Beyond stating your name multiple times be prepared to state your problem, game, and system multiple times in repeat. And for those of you as gullible as me, hoping, praying to at least have an actual ticket created and maybe get a chance to have another person review your problem, let me save you the effort. At the end of each session with EA NextStep it will prompt you to the EA "Self Help" guide where the AI chose an article for you to read and hopefully fix the problem yourself, the only problem, it doesn't actually listen to your problem. I was trying to solve the random EA app failure on PC and beyond having to give it all of the important information multiple times, I was offered a generic "game help" article, a "login help" article, and a "connectivity troubleshooting" article, none of which actually addressed the problem or the fact that I had attempted many of the steps those articles were suggesting before trying to find more help. If anyone has a solution to the EA app bug, I would be very appreciative, but I will not hold my breath on EA finding the solution, as the multitude of threads on and off of this site complaining about the exact issue I was having, and the EA proposed solution, if all else fails, factory reset, and the EA app and EA games are just not worth that effort.333Views4likes8CommentsCannot submit a support ticket/AI bot stuck in a loop
I tried looking at what was offered by EA_Lanna here: How to start a live chat conversation with EA? | EA Forums - 12316916 That leads me to a an AI chatbot that is stuck in a loop. I submitted another thread here: How in the heck are we supposed to submit a support ticket? | EA Forums - 13319879 That outlines the challenges I am having since the chatbot will either drop me to a FAQ about issues I am not having, or continuously ask me the same questions over and over. I can not find anywhere on the support website that will bring me to either a) a place to submit an email ticket, or b) talk to a live agent via chat. AI bots CAN work for support issues, but the one EA has implemented doesn't seem to be capable of handling the task. Soooo, where do I go to submit a ticket/chat with a live agent on my original issue, (which I submitted an EA Forums post over three weeks ago and have yet to have a reply from EA on)? EDIT: It looks like my "how in the heck" post got moderated to who-knows-where, so here's the lowdown so the mods understand the issue I am having in trying to submit a troubleticket. I go an try and submit a troubleticket and it gets into a constant loop offering incorrect diagnosis, and then asking for the problem, the game, and the platform. Rinse and repeat. If I agree to its incorrect diagnosis, it drops me to a FAQ about the issue that isn't my problem. If I tell it "no that is incorrect" The process starts all over again.Solved49Views0likes1Comment
