Simcity Buildit - Follow the rules and you'll be banned!
In recent weeks, new rules have appeared in Simcity Buildit. For example, production times for nails, metal, and wood have been reduced, but demand for services such as water, sewer, garbage, and electricity has also been significantly reduced. Strangely, these new rules seem to be deployed randomly; some cities are affected, others not, regardless of their level. For my part, noticing that demand for services in my capital and regions was reduced, I chose to demolish these service buildings in order to use this space to build new residential buildings. Once destroyed, you are refunded a portion of the value of these services. In my case, these were Omega services, so I recovered about half the value of nearly 80 service buildings (yes, I had a lot!). In doing so, the amount available in my neobank reached approximately 40 million, while its limit is 750,000 Neosimoleons. An hour or two later, my city was banned, excluded from my club on the server dedicated to cheaters. Following a request for help finding a solution, the SimCity Buildit "specialist" told me that I had used an illegal version of SimCity Buildit to obtain so many Neosimoleons. Such ignorance of the game from a specialist is hard to imagine. It took me 10 years to build this city, and an EA intern gives himself the right to impose his opinion on me?! In short, if you are affected by these new rules, do not destroy your Omega services if you think the refund amount will exceed your bank's limit. If a real EA expert is reading this, know that I need help...
Dear Anthem...
A letter from a simple player.. I know many have accepted that it will cease to function in January of next year, but I haven't. This was something I needed to write and resubmit in this category.. not just as a player, but as someone who feels deeply about to this world I feel like talking about Anthem, from my own experience with it, from what it makes me feel. From the most sincere part of myself Knowing that its servers will shut down on January 12, 2026, has undoubtedly created a kind of pain in my soul, a pain that is hard to process, hard to accept…... Not because it will end... But because of what this magnificent video game could have been I know that EA and BioWare see anthem as a game that didn’t meet the expectations that were set........ But for some of us.... Anthem was not just a game, it was art in its purest form.....It is sad to know that such a living world, so well crafted, so vast, will be permanently shut down… after so many experiences… this is truly heartbreaking. It hurts to know that it will disappear... not just because of its world, but because of the small details that made me feel like I was really there… I’ll miss the sound of the southern lapwings and the parrots that flew over Fort Tarsis, the feeling of walking through the markets, the sunset, the daylight,, the landscapes that truly looked like they were pulled out of a dream...... I know not many saw, or understood, the art in anthem, But some of us did. And when that world shuts down, a part of our own stories will fade with it. ...It’s very sad to accept that it will vanish as if it never existed... And you know....... Anthem...... Anthem, to me, is not just a game... To me, it’s a reflection of something deeper: a promise that once seemed enormous, with a beautiful world full of potential, but that ended up being rejected and forgotten by a large part of the gaming community... And that's where I feel that in this abandonment, something speaks to me personally... because sometimes, in life, you also feel like that: with big dreams, with a desire to shine, but for different reasons, they don’t come true or are left in the background…... .. Hey all, I was just curious. It's been a bit over a year now since the game shut down but, I dont recall the reasoning for it? I know I-- as im sure many players were-- was quite sad when it was shutting down. Not mad. Sad. I love LotR. Period. The game was fun. Kinda hoping EA gives it another go down the line?
Golf Clash Driving Range
Dear EA Could you please put a driving range into the golf clash game? Would be good to be able to test out new clubs, or bag configurations on the driving range. You could make it so you have to use practice tokens to get balls eg. 1 token for 5 balls, 2 tokens for 10 balls, 3 tokens for 20 balls etc. Thanks🙂
