Inconsistencies, RNG and bad audio
1shot kills are skill based, bug or cheaters? i bet on skill based like artilery seems to hit only some, i experienced a death to my own artilery when inside the tower while 2guys just chilling on the roof... If its RNG just get rid of it i dont know if u guys lost the basic common sense by making BF over the years i get it the casual modes "die respawn repeat" doesnt matter rng chaos its ok but in battle royale its a competitve game by default so that **bleep** its not welcome i dont want to lose a game just cuz i cant see or ear **bleep** cuz the flames are to close and then lil timmy who got lucky and saw me by some miracle between the chaos or has a controller and felt it sticky when hovering his crosshair towards the smoke... Why are airstrikes not hiting where it says they gonna hit and i know i painted high they come at angle bla bla just tell me where they gonna hit i painted from north to south and they came from south.... even if i wanted to lay down and think if im safe i couldnt cuz i dont know from where they are coming so just lay it perfectly on the radar and btw audio still sucks tanks still sneak up, sometimes i hear footsteps sometimes i dont i am playing a game where u shoot someone not because u see him but cuz u see a red dot behind smoke or just cuz it wanted to show up so dont try to make it realistic or what u think its realistic i want to hear footsteps even when close to the redline getting the weapon drop the server droped 600m away from me outside the map when there are 3 close to eachother 2000m the opposite direction https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield_REDSEC/comments/1pltotu/oneshot_sniped_full_plates_and_full_health/ https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield_REDSEC/comments/1pxbdip/one_shot_death/3Views0likes0CommentsMy Account Was Wrongfully Banned for 20 Days
To the EA Community and the EA TOS Team: I am writing this post to bring attention to the ongoing situation regarding the wrongful ban on my account. This 20-day duration accounts for half of the game's total time since release, resulting in a massive loss of playtime and frustration for me as a loyal player. The most important point I must highlight is a potential system error in my case: I am a player on the PC platform (via Steam), yet the platform listed on my ban/case details is PS5. This discrepancy suggests a fundamental error in processing my case, which could be the root cause of the wrongful ban. Despite submitting multiple appeals and requests, my issue unfortunately remains unresolved. I understand that the EA TOS Team must be extremely busy, but please consider the significant impact this error is having on a non-cheating player who is missing out on crucial game time. I urge the EA team to carefully review my in-game statistics and gameplay data. What kind of cheater would have such terrible/mediocre stats? My game history will clearly demonstrate that I am an average player, and my performance level is nowhere near what would suggest cheating. This ban is clearly a misjudgment/error. I am appealing to the EA TOS Team to prioritize my case, re-examine the evidence, and lift the wrongful ban on my account based on my genuine gameplay record as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and attention to this critical issue.Solved69Views0likes4CommentsStutters, hiccups , framedrops i found the cause!! Edit***
So after hours of testing today, I found the cause of stutters, frame drops, etc. It's the Javelin anti-cheat, which overloads one or two CPU cores when you press WASD, 1, 2, or 3, the enter button, or certain letters. The CPU core goes to 100%, and this results in stutters. It's affecting all Battlefield titles, so please fix this, Dice! Edit** I noticed that pressing certain keyboard keys (like number keys or arrow keys) causes noticeable micro-stutters in BF1, BFV, and BF6. FPS stays high, GPU load is fine, and CPU cores aren’t maxed. Mouse movement or clicks don’t trigger this. It seems to happen only with keys that change the game state (weapon switch, zeroing, gadgets). Rapidly pressing these keys makes spikes worse (dpc latency.) Shader cache warm-up reduces it slightly, and capping FPS also helps mask the spikes. From what I can tell, the cause is kernel-level anti-cheat checks (Javelin/EA AC) validating discrete input. These checks temporarily block the main game thread, which shows up as micro-stutter, even though CPU/GPU aren’t overloaded. This isn’t a hardware or driver issue—it’s a side effect of the anti-cheat + Frostbite engine. please fix this soon!2.5KViews57likes43CommentsMany bugs in this broken game - Listed in this topic
There are several problems in the game that still haven't been fixed, even though the developers have been aware of them for a long time. This should already make players wonder if the developers have really noticed these problems and are going to fix the game, or is it just a matter of getting money from customers? Because new content is constantly being added to the store, as well as new battle pass paths to keep you playing this completely broken game. Decide for yourself, it's clear to me what this is all about, and I don't think the developers have any intention of doing much about these things. I have listed several problems here, most of which have been known for a long time, but no fixes have been released. 1. Rubberbanding / Hitreg issues - There have been threads on the forums about this problem since the game's release. Have we received any fixes? Allegedly yes - Actually no. The Winter Offensive update was supposed to bring improvements, but we have received more reports that the problem has only gotten worse. Many players who play on the PC platform experience that bullets fired against console players do not always register or the player's hitbox is not where it should be, i.e. inside the character's MODEL. It has also been reported many times that the enemy will shoot the player himself to death in less than a second, while you yourself have to empty half of the magazine into the enemy to make him fall. There are also situations where the player has already moved behind a wall/corner and still gets hit by the enemy. Personally, I have experienced all of these. 2. Sound problems/issues - Disappearing footsteps, silent tanks, disappearing gunshots, and silent parachutes. Here are a few examples of sound issues that have been reported and that I have also experienced myself. After the last 5 games, I can say that the problems, or at least some of them, are still present. 3. Broken content - Developers periodically release new content, such as Battlepass paths or new game modes such as the Winter offensive game mode. Neither of these examples has come without major problems. There have been several reports in Battlepass paths that earned tokens are not registering. The Winter offensive update only broke the game's optimization even further, even on high-end gaming computers. Several reports of mouse input lag and frame skipping has been reported since this update. More items are being released to the store all the time, but the problem with points 1 and 2 has not been fixed, it seems that this is all just a money-making scheme. More Battlepass paths are being introduced so that players play and buy in-game content even though the game is completely broken. 4. Stuttering / Frame skipping when pressing keys (Javelin Anti-cheat) - Multiple users have verified that Javelin Anti-Cheat shows a CPU usage spike only when pressing the specific keyboard keys that cause stuttering at that moment. The affected keys change between game launches. What remains consistent across all reports is that the stutter is tied to discrete keyboard input events processed at a low level. That strongly points to an issue in the input handling path, most likely involving the anti-cheat layer. 5. Challenge unlock problems. - Various reports of unlock issues such as challenge gun doesn't unlock, completed task not registering as completed, or not getting a reward for completed task. There are several of these and I'm not going to list them all here. 6. Battlepass instant unlock not ulnocking - People spend money to level up in the battle pass. Unfortunately, many people lose the in-game money they purchased and no progress is made in the battle pass when skipping tiers with in-game currency. There are several reports of this and have you noticed that the option to skip tiers is still available? If something that people spend REAL MONEY on doesn't work, I think it's completely unreasonable to keep it available until it's fixed. 7. Frozen scoreboard and inability to spawn. - Sometimes the scoreboard freezes and you can't get rid of it. Actually quite often if you look at the scoreboard a lot. Sometimes if you edit your loadout while downed, you may not be able to spawn in the same game at all. These problems have been known for several weeks - Still no fix. Here are a few of the problems listed, but I would like to highlight these and make you players really think about whether this is a complete scam or whether these problems are really going to be fixed? So far, everything has pointed to the first suspicion. EA promised before the release that they would listen to the players and develop the content according to their wishes. So I'm asking, where are the bigger maps, server list with host option like in BF3 and BF4, littlebird copter and many other things that have been constantly requested. Please consider carefully whether it is worth paying for this or asking for your money back.114Views6likes4CommentsBattlefield V or VI no longer booting Win 11 N2 incompatibility issue?
HI. I purchased and downloaded BF6 prior to release date and have been playing the game on my current PC for months without this current issue. Now I can no longer boot this game or even BF5 on my PC. I get an error message on boot that states that EA Javelin Anticheat encountered a system error, please run the EA Javelin Anticheat installer. So I click on Reinstall EA Javelin Anticheat and it says it successfully installed and then goes back to the EA app and an error states the game failed to boot due to a problem on our (EA) end. Please try again later. This same issue loops over and over again. I didn't change any settings on my PC. So then I trouble shooted the issue and checked my BIOS UEIF and secure boot are enabled. I tried to admin repair the EA Javelin anticheat installer. I cleared cache, I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game, only to have installation hang up on HD shaders. I have done all these things suggested and nothing works. I am and running windows 11 version 25h2. Then I found something online stating that this version of windows is incompatible with EA Javelin anticheat?! I tried to rollback my version of windows, which I can't do because I cleared my cache, im guessing? So now I am stuck. Is anyone else having this problem? Found a solution? HELP!?Will I get banned if I install an unofficial version of FSR 4.0 in my gpu?
Hi. Will I get banned if I install an unofficial version of FSR 4.0 in my graphics card drivers? My 6700XT hasn't been updated to the official FSR 4.0 yet, but you can install it unofficially, and the game simply looks nicer. This isn't a "cheat" or "making it easier for other players, because many cards already have the new DLSS or FSR 4.0 as standard." But the question is, will Javelin detect file swaps as cheats? I don't want to get banned because I've already played 130 hours and I really like the game :)! But the clarity in RedSec with FSR 3.0 is poor, unfortunately, and I can't afford a new graphics card at the moment. Thank you for your help. P.S This is tutorial how install fsr 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3zkIxjAcXE59Views0likes3CommentsCan we get some sort of time frame for fixes? Or at least an acknowledgement?
Can we get some kind of acknowledgement that support is even checking these threads? Can we get fixes for the game that doesn't require us gimping our GPU, CPU, And XMP/AMD EXPO (Ram speeds)? This probably includes the infamous DX errors this game is riddled with. Any time frame on getting hit reg fixed? You know, those moments of shooting an opponent in the back just for them to turn around and smoke you with what looks like 1 bullet ? Any plans on fixing the Fire camping that takes place in REDSEC? That's allowing people to hangout in the fire without taking damage ? What about what we were sold with Portal? Full progession with bots and friends? Being able to back fill lobbies with bots and enjoying with friends is part of why I purchased this game. Can we let the community decide on the game changes ? Not streamers? We paid our money, it's about time for some sort of acknowledgement. EA_Leeuw ??106Views9likes5CommentsBattlefield 6 disconnects my entire network/internet; reproducible 100%
Battlefield 6 crashes during server join with network traffic dropping to 0 KB/s immediately before crash (PC, Windows, Xfinity) Video of the Crash Summary Battlefield 6 launches normally but consistently crashes during server join or immediately after brief loading visuals. The failure is always preceded by the in-game network graph dropping to 0 KB/s inbound and outbound. This is not a full internet disconnect. Other applications and network activity remain stable. I am normally connected via LAN directly to my modem, have 300 hours so far of uninterrupted gameplay. I tested LAN, WiFi, Hotspot, and my neighbors WiFi with the same outcome as the video above. Environment PC running Windows Network using Xfinity gateway/router managed via the Xfinity app Static DHCP-reserved LAN IP assigned to the PC: 10.0.0.37 Tools used include the Battlefield in-game network graph, Windows Event Viewer, and external port checking tools Symptoms and reproduction Launch Battlefield 6 Attempt to join any server or match During loading, the game either crashes on the loading screen or briefly loads (for example helicopter visuals) and then crashes Immediately before the crash, the in-game network graph shows traffic activity and then drops to 0 KB/s in and out Observed example Attempted to join a server (example: Redsec). The helicopter/loading visuals appeared briefly, then the game terminated immediately. The in-game network graph showed traffic followed by a complete flatline to zero just before the crash. Event Viewer findings Windows Event Viewer was reviewed to determine whether Windows was disabling the network connection at the moment of failure. Result: There is no clear or actionable Windows network-level error logged at the exact time of the crash. There is no indication of a clean network adapter disconnect. The behavior appears consistent with the game or EA Anti-Cheat terminating the session or process internally rather than Windows dropping connectivity. Event Viewer logs from the Application and System logs around the crash window can be provided if specific fields or Event IDs are required. Troubleshooting performed Static IP and port forwarding A static LAN IP was reserved for the PC using DHCP reservation to prevent address changes (10.0.0.37). Port forwarding was configured through the Xfinity app, including port 27015. External port checking tools report the public IP and port as closed. Result: No change. Battlefield 6 still crashes during server join. Port forwarding did not resolve the issue. Windows Firewall changes Windows Defender Firewall rules were deleted to rule out local firewall interference. Result: The game began crashing earlier, now during the loading screen. This suggests the firewall was not the root cause and that removing rules may have removed previously allowed behavior or altered timing rather than fixing the issue. Network observability attempts Windows-native tools were used to determine what component was disabling Battlefield network traffic. Result: No Windows-level logging clearly explains the sudden drop of Battlefield traffic to zero. This points toward an application-level or anti-cheat-level termination rather than an OS-level network failure. Community reports and possible correlation Community posts were found suggesting EA Anti-Cheat may conflict with PPPoE or dial-up style connections, with reported workarounds involving disconnecting and reconnecting the connection after launching the game. This is not confirmed as the root cause here, but the failure pattern is similar: network handshake fails, traffic drops to zero, game terminates. Why this does not appear to be general connectivity or user error Other online games and internet usage function normally Network traffic drops only for Battlefield 6, not system-wide Static IP, port forwarding, and firewall changes do not resolve the issue Windows does not log a clean network disconnect at the time of failure The crash consistently follows the Battlefield network traffic dropping to zero Request to EA Support and Engineering Confirm whether Battlefield 6 requires inbound reachable ports for stability or if outbound-only connectivity is expected Provide guidance on EA Anti-Cheat logging or diagnostics that can explain why the session is terminated when network traffic drops Confirm whether this is a known issue with certain ISP gateways (including Xfinity) and provide recommended gateway settings, bridge mode guidance, or an official workaround Evidence available upon request Screenshots showing in-game network traffic dropping to 0 KB/s immediately before crash Screenshots of Xfinity port forwarding configuration and port checker results Windows Event Viewer logs around the crash window Short issue summary for ticket title Battlefield 6 crashes during server join. In-game network traffic drops to 0 KB/s immediately before crash. Xfinity gateway, static IP 10.0.0.37, port forwarding attempted, firewall changes worsened crash, no clear Windows network error logged.Invalid Pointer and Access Violations (CRASH)
Again i’m reaching out to share my frustration with Battlefield 6 and the consistent crashes I’ve been encountering. After performing various hardware tests (including MemTest86, stress tests, and verifying all components), I’ve found no issues with my hardware. However, BF6 crashes immediately after launching or during gameplay. I’ve tried updating drivers, reinstalling the game, updating the BIOS, and even reinstalling Windows — but the problem persists. Interestingly, I’ve been able to run demanding games like Alan Wake 2 and Stellar Blade without any issues, so it's clear this problem is specific to BF6. Crash Details: After analyzing the crash dumps, I found the following: Error Type: Access Violation (INVALID_POINTER_READ) Error Code: 0xC0000005 Faulting Module: bf6.exe Faulting Function: ffxFsr2ResourceIsNull (memory address: 0x144b3a6e0) Exception Information: The crash occurs when the game attempts to read from the invalid memory address 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. Crash Dump File: CrashDump_2026.01.03_14.56.48.058.mdmp This indicates a problem within bf6.exe at the ffxFsr2ResourceIsNull function, which seems to involve faulty memory access during runtime. The issue appears to be related to a null pointer dereference, possibly due to a bug in the game’s code or an incompatibility with the system’s configuration. I’ve tried multiple solutions, including updating the drivers, reinstalling the game, updating the BIOS, and reinstalling Windows, but the issue still persists. I have footage of a cheater in Redsec, but there is no way to report him. 1. His name is unprintable. - you shouldn't allow nonprintable characters - you shouldn't allow number sequences - you shouldn't allow long names such as sentences 2. I never saw his name in recently played - you shouldn't allow people to make their accounts private unless they never play MP - you should provide a record of every game, like other games do in MP 3. There is no way to submit video footage, or a game id, so how the hell are you able to verify that someone is cheating or not? I don't think you're even trying TBH. This guy pops up and shoots dirt. He knows when people are behind objects and keeps looking at object and moving until he can see them. His tracking of objects is just weird, it's not human at all, it's very smooth and too accurate, no bounce, just a weird smooth track.10Views0likes0Comments
