Game Crashing With Unknown Error 0:85009S
Hi everyone, A couple of days ago I decided to do a clean install of Windows 11 and installed all the necessary drivers. When I install and play Battlefield 6, after about 5 minutes the game kicks me out of the session with the error code “Unknown Error 0:85009S.” This is getting really frustrating because I’ve tried pretty much every suggestion I’ve found from other users, and nothing has worked so far. Here’s a list of what I’ve already tried: Clean install of Windows 11 Clean install of Windows 10 Clean install of Windows 11 LTSC Restarting my internet router Using my phone’s internet connection Clean boot via MSCONFIG Reinstalling Javelin Running both BF6 and Javelin as administrator Flushing DNS Changing DNS servers Disconnecting peripherals Allowing BF6 and Javelin through the firewall Opening ports on my router I’d really appreciate any help. I used to play without any issues, but since around Saturday, the 28th I haven’t been able to stay in-game for more than 5 minutes before getting kicked (cm edit - updated title for vis)5.8KViews10likes128CommentsError Code 0:85009S - Kicked after 5 mins
Hey everyone, I am reaching out here because I am completely at my wit's end with Error Code 0:85009S. I recently did a fresh reinstall of Windows, and ever since then, I cannot stay in a match for more than 5 minutes before getting kicked. It is absolutely outrageous and is making it impossible to play with my friends. I want to be clear that I have already tried everything usually suggested for network and anti-cheat issues. Here is the list of troubleshooting steps I have already gone through, none of which worked: Switched to Google DNS and Cloudflare DNS Completely disabled IPv6 Reset and reinstalled all drivers Hard reset my router Verified the game cache and local files Repaired the EA Anti-Cheat (EA AC) Nothing is working. The game just boots me out after 5 minutes, almost on the dot. Has anyone actually found a working fix for this specific error code? I am out of ideas and just want to play the game. Thanks in advance. (cm edit - updated title for vis)Solved2.6KViews4likes22CommentsBattlefield 6 Not Launching – EA AntiCheat Crash (0xc0000409)

The issue started on April 10. Prior to that date, the game was launching and running without any problems. I attempted multiple troubleshooting steps, including repairing the game, uninstalling it completely, and reinstalling it from scratch, but the issue persisted. I then checked the Windows Event Viewer logs and performed a systematic troubleshooting process by disabling background applications one by one. Through trial and error, I identified that the issue occurs when the WireSock application is running. This troubleshooting process took approximately two days. WireSock Secure Connect is a WireGuard-based VPN client for Windows that supports features like selective application tunneling and advanced traffic routing. () Download link for testing: https://wiresock.net/wiresock-secure-connect/download The application is configured to route traffic through the Netherlands and is used only to allow Discord connectivity. When WireSock is active, the game fails to launch. When it is closed, Battlefield 6 launches normally. Please download and test this application on your side, as this appears to be a compatibility issue between EA AntiCheat and WireSock. Please investigate this issue.Crashes in Bf6 still happening
Hey i already made few weeks ago post about my crashing issues and i thought after that, they would have been fewer crashes but they just keep happening and now i get new kinds of errors. I get this DirectX error to pop up in game even tho im at main menu, and i have notice its only happens when im alt+tab to other tabs and game running in the backround. ( i have latest drivers & i have made clean nvidia driver uninstall and install) The event viewer gives these when the game just crashes without giving clear indication why it did, i have crashed now 3x times within the last time i reported of these, and in total 5x times within 2 weeks which is just unacceptable. I have tried to do everything i was instructed to do in the last post i made, but nothing has worked, and BF6 is only game that does this at the moment.23Views0likes1CommentTailoring the game to suit console players
This game is completely unplayable in its current state for PC players. Ever since EA let go of some of their developers, it feels like there’s no clear understanding of what state the game is actually in. Right now, Battlefield 6 is being heavily tailored toward console players, and it’s creating a frustrating and unfair experience. Aim assist is the biggest issue. It should only be effective at close to mid range around 50 meters or less but instead, console players are locking onto targets from over 100 meters away and eliminating players with minimal effort. That completely kills any sense of skill based gameplay. If the game is doing that much of the work for you, what’s the point of even playing? If crossplay is going to stay, there needs to be a serious rebalance of aim assist. At the very least, give players the option to turn it off or separate matchmaking by input type. If these issues aren’t addressed soon, you’re going to lose a large portion of your PC player base.Battlefield 6 wont launch from steam
I had the game working yesterday, and now today it thoows an error with EA anticheat (7)(1). Nothing changed in my PC since yesterday, no software installed or removed. I went thought the process of uninstalling EA anticheat (uninstall all) option from "C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe" and downloading the EA anticheat form "https://help.ea.com/en/articles/platforms/pc-ea-anticheat/". rebooting the PC. Tried launching the game from steam. It won't even show the splash screen. Just the process "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe" runs in task manager and the quietly exits. I tried directly launching the game by opening the "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe" in game directory, It shows the splash screen and then shows me (7)(1) error. At this point I'm regretting buying the game.31Views0likes1CommentLock-on AA Missiles while parachuting is a Dirty Play and 0% Skil, Ruin the game
"Seriously, using the FXM-33 lock-on while hugging the sky ceiling and then parachuting down to snipe helis is such a cheap move. It’s honestly a dirty play and it’s killing the vibe. In BF6 you can't absolutely no way to use firearms, lock-on missiles, or any gadgets while parachuting. If a Stinger camper is sitting at the top of the map with these abilities, pilots have like a 1% chance of surviving. Dice please fix this by disabling all combat actions during the parachute to keep the game fair and challenging. Stop making it so easy for campers and start rewarding real skill."UNKNOWN ERROR
Since the game's release, I haven't had a single problem launching it. I played it just fine last night. But after last night, whenever I try to launch the game, I get this error: UNKNOWN ERROR ERROR CODE 0:5 1002S:57019S I have a dual-boot Windows system, and nothing has changed on this OS, nor have I downloaded anything new. The second Windows is completely stock. Only drivers and Windows updates. Identical errors. People say a VPN helps. But everything worked fine until now. Something changed overnight, and a problem arose...106Views3likes3Comments
