FC 26 will not launch — EAAntiCheatService Error 87
Hello, FC 26 suddenly stopped launching after a Windows update/restart on August 13, 2026. Before the update, I was able to play FC 26 normally. After the restart, the game opens a black window for a few seconds and then closes back to the EA App. The important part is that I have identified an EA AntiCheat/Javelin driver installation failure. EAAntiCheatService terminates with: " The parameter is incorrect. " Windows Error: 87 (ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER) My Javelin logs also report: "constructDriverFile failed" I have checked C:\Windows\System32\drivers and confirmed that eaanticheat.sys is NOT being created. I also ran the EA AntiCheat installer manually as Administrator: C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe --noui --install --read-cfg The command completes without displaying an error, but eaanticheat.sys is still not created. I also checked the Windows driver store and could not find an EA AntiCheat/Javelin driver package. I have already tried: Reinstalling/repairing EA AntiCheat multiple times Reinstalling FC 26 Reinstalling the NVIDIA driver from NVIDIA's official website Clean boot with all non-Microsoft services disabled Removing an old third-party kernel driver Renaming the FC 26 folder under %LOCALAPPDATA% to generate fresh settings Removing the Windows update that was installed immediately before the problem DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth SFC /scannow Checking Secure Boot Checking Windows Event Viewer and Code Integrity logs The DISM repair completed successfully and SFC reports no integrity violations, but the AntiCheat driver still isn't being created. I also found an EA FC 26 bug report describing what appears to be the same issue: EAAntiCheatService Error 87 where eaanticheat.sys is never created. Could you please investigate this as an EA Javelin AntiCheat driver installation issue rather than a general FC 26 launch/configuration issue? Game Crashes to Desktop after "Let's Play" Screen
Hi, first encountered this issue 3 days ago, to which I had given up until earlier today, where I attempted to log into the game successfully to play career mode. However, upon attempting to start the game again after closing it, the same issue persists. It crashes to desktop right after the "Let's Play" screen with no error message given whatsoever. Could anyone help take a look at my game files to see what exactly is wrong with my copy of the game?
EA Javelin Anticheat error (41)
Ever since an internet outage I had on August 11th, I haven't been able to launch the game. Every single time I try, I get this error(41). What's even stranger is that I couldn't find any information about this specific error code anywhere on the internet—most people seem to be getting error (95). Basically, when EA Anti-Cheat loads, it completes the entire process (including the update check), but right when the game is about to launch, a pop-up appears with this error.Has been 2 days since i could play the game. Did everything already: repaired and reinstalled javelin anticheat, verified archives on steam and even reinstalled the game. I bought EA SPORTS FC 26 on Steam to play Squad Battles casually on my Dell Latitude 7490, Intel UHD 620, Windows 11 but the game keeps crashing to desktop without any error message. Event Viewer keeps showing "ExitType: 95 (81)". I've literally tried everything to fix this **bleep** EA Anti-Cheat: ❌ I dont have any vpns or other anticheat. ❌ Enabled Secure Boot and Memory Integrity in Windows Security. ❌ Ran Steam, EA App, and FC26.exe as Administrator. ❌ Reinstalled EA Anti-Cheat, EA App and FC26 from the game directory. ❌ Fixed a temporary power adapter throttling issue (which previously locked my CPU at 0.79GHz). After all these fixes, the game STILL crashes immediately when connecting to EA servers. Has anyone with a low-end spec laptop managed to bypass this Javelin Anti-Cheat error?
