"Security Violation (84): DiscSoftLTD (Daemon Tools)"
Hi, I’m getting the EA Anti-Cheat error “Security Violation (84): DiscSoftLTD (Daemon Tools). This software cannot be used at the same time as the game.” when trying to launch EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC (Steam). I do NOT have Daemon Tools installed. I previously used reWASD but it is fully uninstalled. I checked with pnputil /enum-drivers and there are no DiscSoft / Daemon / SPTD drivers on my system (only Microsoft / Nefarius). I also used Revo Uninstaller to completely remove EA app and EA SPORTS FC 26, deleted leftovers, reinstalled everything and the error is still exactly the same. EA Support created and escalated case ID 235498887 for this and told me to report it here as a possible bug / false positive. The game is not saving the player positions that I manually set. It is also not saving the custom tactics and formations that I choose. Every time I exit the game and return later, all of my changes are gone and the team setup is reverted. I have already tried restarting the game multiple times, but the problem still persists. Platform: PlayStation 4 This issue has a significant impact on gameplay because players are unable to keep their preferred squad setup, tactics, and formations. I kindly ask the EA SPORTS FC 26 team to investigate this issue as soon as possible and provide a fix if this is a bug affecting other players as well. Hi, I’m reporting repeated abuse in FC 26 on Switch 2 (user: rumek87). Today I matched the same opponent three times (Seasons mode). Twice they disconnected when losing. The third time, I left early to avoid wasting more time—and I was the one given a loss. I purchased EA SPORTS FC 26 on Steam and have never been able to launch the game. The game reaches the "Starting EA Javelin AntiCheat" screen and then displays: "This software cannot be used at the same time as the game: Interception" I have spent an entire day troubleshooting and have confirmed that Interception is not installed on my system. Troubleshooting completed: Reinstalled EA Javelin AntiCheat. Rebooted multiple times. Verified game files through Steam. Ran SFC /SCANNOW (found and repaired corrupted files). Ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth successfully. Confirmed sc query interception returns "The specified service does not exist as an installed service." Confirmed driverquery | findstr /i interception returns no results. Confirmed there is no interception.sys file. Confirmed there are no Interception-related registry entries. Uninstalled Logitech G HUB and confirmed Logitech virtual keyboard and virtual mouse devices were removed. Temporarily disabled Riot Vanguard and tested again. Uninstalled Cheat Engine. Removed RGB Fusion. Checked for RawAccel, ReWASD and other known conflicting drivers. Performed a clean boot test. Windows 10 Pro 22H2 (Build 19045.7417). Despite all of the above, EA Javelin AntiCheat continues to report that "Interception" is running. EA Support has already collected my DxDiag and escalated the issue. I understand the limitations of automated AI systems, yet all my previous appeals only received generic AI replies. I have requested manual review for account verification repeatedly, but I got the exact same automated response across all 8 appeals, word for word. I have never engaged in any real-money coin trading. All my coins were earned legitimately through regular gameplay, and the total amount is very small.
