Achievement not unlocking for "Through Mud and Blood" in Battlefield 1
I've completed every single Codex Entry in the "Through Mud and Blood" campaign, but the achievement won't pop. It’s been over two years, and I’ve replayed it countless times. My in-game profile shows it's finished, but Steam and EA App are showing nothing. Any fix for this?In-game chat currently not working – possible connection to chat/filter system?
Hello everyone, for the past few days (around 3–4 days in my case), I’ve been unable to send messages in the Battlefield V in-game chat. Detailed behavior: The in-game chat window is visible and can be opened normally I can see messages from other players I can type text into the chat input However, my own messages do not appear in the chat and seem not to be sent at all So this is not a complete chat outage or a UI issue, but specifically a problem where outgoing messages are not transmitted, even though the chat itself is working. At this point, it seems unlikely that this is related to individual community servers. Instead, it appears to be a technical issue on EA’s or the client’s side. A possible connection to the chat or profanity filter system is noticeable: Changing my player name allowed me to use the chat briefly After restarting the game, the issue returned I’m aware of multiple other players currently experiencing the same problem This also affects players with completely neutral, non-offensive names If there have been recent changes to the chat or filter system, they may currently not be functioning correctly and could be unintentionally blocking legitimate players. My questions: Are other players experiencing this issue as well? Are there any known workarounds on the player side? Or is this clearly an EA / DICE issue that requires a server- or client-side fix? Thanks for any feedback or shared experiences. Best regards695Views15likes42CommentsBattlefield V – Armory not working for months
Hello EA Support team, I would like to report an ongoing issue with the Armory in Battlefield V. For couple of months and maybe even half a year now, the Armory has not been functioning properly — it no longer provides any weekly bundles, skins, or featured offers, even though this feature used to work consistently before. I completely understand that Battlefield V is no longer receiving new content updates from DICE or EA Games, but the Armory system was a core and working feature of the game, and it should still be maintained. Players are still purchasing Battlefield V and additional content, and the servers remain active, which clearly shows there is still a dedicated and active community supporting the game. Not long ago, there was also an issue where the community servers were not working properly, and that problem was eventually fixed — which proves that there are still people maintaining the backend and keeping the game functional. We hope that the same kind of maintenance can be done for the Armory system as well. As large and successful companies, DICE and EA Games have the responsibility to ensure that existing features, especially those that were part of the original paid product, continue to function properly. Even if no new content is being developed, basic maintenance and functionality of in-game systems like the Armory should still be supported — particularly since the game is still available for sale and players continue to spend money on it. At the moment, the Armory in Battlefield V only displays a static screen with the message “NO SHIPMENTS AVAILABLE” (as shown in the attached screenshot). It no longer provides any bundles, shipments, or weekly items, confirming that the feature is completely non-functional. This issue has persisted for several months and continues to affect many active players who still enjoy and support the game. In the name of Battlefield V players and myself, I kindly ask you to look into this problem. Please investigate this issue or escalate it to the appropriate team within EA or DICE. Restoring the Armory’s functionality would mean a lot to the Battlefield community and show that EA and DICE still care about maintaining the integrity of their games. Thank you for your time and understanding. Best regards, BF V1.1KViews19likes43Comments[xbox] Battlefieldv servers disconnecting when full. Video proof.
Update problem is still happening 01/02/2026 as the title says, when playing battlefield v on xbox the game servers randomly disconnect when full or partially full, with the error " the game session is no longer available" This then effects other Battlefield V Game servers like Team Deathmatch shutting down at the same time. Battlefield V needs server maintenaince and that should FIX the ISSUE. Video of proof of game shutting down when active video below: https://youtu.be/ZougL64I_pk?si=z6MZ3gZY-FVQb9-5 When I try to rejoin the same server that just crashed as shown in Video it says the following Error : Also Platoon tags are Not always showing on players, Most of the time nobody gets platoon tags next to their name: I believe this is becuse the game servers are needing some maintenaince and is all linked with the game servers crashing. Below images of Platoon tags not showing on players.618Views0likes7Commentsgame chat error after each sent message, not sent
last month everything i sent in ea app chat was censored for no reason and went thru hell to actually get a live chat with ea suppport which over a week with a few "techs" was pointless. eventually ea app chat went to normal, cool. THEN theres today. everything was fine, played a few games, sent a few in game chat messages to party members then after restarting the game after a few graphics settings i sometimes change depending on the fps i am getting, i try and send an in game chat to party and i get an immediate error message plus no response from party. try again, error message with a bunch of numbers ill never get before the message disappears. same ever since. google said the error is a longstanding known issue tho ive never had it and when i search EA forums with usable keywords nothing comes up. at this point aside from some questionable gameplay decisions by the devs, its clear the lack of support or ability to address errors is a major catalyst to gamers lack of enthusiasm towards anything ea puts out these days.In-Game Chat Bug – Sometimes Can’t Type
There’s a serious bug with the in-game chat in Battlefield 2042. Sometimes it just stops working and I can’t type anything at all. This really hurts the gameplay experience, especially when trying to coordinate with teammates. Many players have encountered the same bug as me, and verifying game integrity on Steam doesn’t fix it. EA, please fix this issue as soon as possible. Communication is a core part of the game, and right now it’s broken.
