Using controller on PC switching to keyboard mappings constantly
I've been played Veilguard on PC for about 40 hours using a XSX controller (connected via Bluetooth). Throughout my experience, it will randomly switch to displaying keyboard mappings, limiting my abilities and messing up my controls. A quick fix for this has been to pause the game and save, in which it will flip back to the correct controller mappings. This was already annoying and frustrating, but since the most recent patch it seems to be exponentially worse and I'm experiencing this issue within 5 minutes of starting up the game. After doing the quick fix, it will happen again within another 5 minutes. Unfortunately, I've reach the point of frustration enough times during larger battles in which I cannot save the game and have no way to get my controls back that I am no longer interested in putting up with this until it's fixed. I've tried all of the "fixes" I've seen mentioned in other bug discussions (disconnecting all accessories i.e. mouse / keyboard, trying different controllers, wiring in my controller, disabling steam input and vice versa). Is anyone else experiencing this and found a proper fix? And has anyone else noticed it become increasingly worse with Patches 3 & 4? I really, really am enjoying my playthrough of this game and don't want to stop playing because of such a frustrating situation.
Another missing LSB…
Hello! I am missing the Dr aphra LSB. I have here the screenshot showing I don’t have it in my inventory but I did pay for it! (it turned into crystals for some reason?) if there is any kind hearted dev out there that sees my cry for help, I would be forever in your debt! my ally code is: 463-548-881 now may the devs hear my plea! I can only hope for a Christmas miracle…Unable to Claim Daily Quest Rewards
This has happened to me twice where I finish my daily quests before they reset, but I am unable to claim my rewards. I get a popup that says “Daily Quests have reset. Your account has been granted unclaimed rewards, and a receipt has been sent to your inbox.” The problem is that my daily quests haven’t reset yet which you can see on the timer in my screenshots. When my quests actually reset, I receive the individual rewards in my inbox, but I am not receiving the crate for completing all 7 dailies even though they were all completed before reset. This means I am missing out on all the crate rewards including crystals, episode points, and Kyros. I should receive my missing 2 crates or the equivalent of all the missing rewards.Conquest sector 5 boss fight bugged
In sector 5 of the Rey (Dark Side Vision) conquest the boss fight that includes the Gungans is bugged. In several battles after taking out their shield generator the Gungans seem to still be completely immune to damage and instakills. Rey's sudden whirlwind barely does any damage to a Gungan after the generator is down and SEE's instakill doesn't do anything to phase them either. This is also even more irritating because i am at the moment pushing for the red crate since i really want to unlock this lifter for my SLKR only for the boss node to be bugged
Not able to purchase LSB
I know a lot of people have posted about it here and I’ve replied to a few but I figured I’d post too so people know they’re not alone and it gets more traction. I can’t purchase an LSB on the game or the web store. It just gives that same Oops… message. I think it stems from canceling the purchase when you go to make the purchase. I contacted support and they said it was an issue that they were aware of and to keep an eye out. Not super relieving but at least it’s something. The thing is, this has been an issue for a while because it happened to me with the General Skywalker bundle but it only took a store refresh for me to be able to purchase. So what is the issue this time and why has it not been fixed/why is it worse?
Can no longer aim while jumping or dodging with bow
While playing as a rogue before patch 4, when jumping and "drawing" the bow to aim, time would slow down, making it much easier to snipe and shoot enemies. there was also a slight time delay when drawing the bow while dodging. As of patch 4, though, I can no longer do this. No matter how I try, jumping and aiming/drawing the bow just results in a short-draw shot, and I can't dodge and aim at the same time, it just waits for the dodge animation to finish before firing off a quick-draw shot. Is anyone else experiencing this? These mechanics of slowing time and being able to shoot while jumping and dodging were really cool and useful, and the sudden inability to do them anymore is really impacting my combat on my rogue playthrough :(
