BF II not starting
I own both SWBFII and TFII on steam, however, unfortunately, it needs the EA client to run them... I cnanot for the life of me get either running. I've uninstalled, reinstalled the EA App, the games, verified files, checked all drivers, updated as needed. Made sure DX12 was off. Still, no launch. Hit the play button on steam, EA Client opens, then the play button reappears on steam, EA Client, closes, and restarts like nothing was pushed.. Try launching from EA Client, same thing. No errors, client closes, restarts with nothing happening. Super frustrating as it's run before. TF2 has the exact same issue...
PlayStation game is a complete joke compared to the modded game
I've been playing this game on the PlayStation to eventually find out that I'm actually wasting my time because to be able to enjoy this game you need a PC and play the modded version of this game. When you look how the modded game looks compared to The Original game The Original game is an absolute Joke. Of course The foundation was made by EA but as you can see it doesn't Matter who Made The foundation but actually Matters is the unstoppable Energy that People can apply to everything they make an everything that they do. You can see that actually the real Star Wars fans and Star Wars community can Make an amazing game and the show they are Incredible valuable for these things. What we can also see is that the game creator which is EA Games is only looking for fast money. They make a lot of money and immediately they focus on the next games. It's hard for me to understand why a company such as EA Games or dice doesn't connect with these moderators to upgrade the Star Wars battlefront 2 original game for everyone including people using a PlayStation or an Xbox or whatever. Secondly I don't understand why these people for working at EA Games and dice don't make this game cross platform because the numbers show that this game is still rising and The number of players is constantly increasing even in 2026. I've been playing this game for a few weeks to eventually find myself extremely disappointed because de game om de console is a complete Joke compart to the game that PC players are playing which is the modded version of the game. EA games and or Dice should connect with these people and upgrade the game so that everyone can enjoy the modded game. Dit should also make this game cross platform because Why not? If ea games or dice is not interested in the games that they Made but only interested in money they should spend some Energy to make it Impossible for People to change their game. Because these moderators have completely changed the game in a positive Way but it's still the game belong to EA games and or dice. So excepting this moderation shouldn't be existing. In this message I would like to ask EA Games to reach out to these moderators and upgrade Star Wars battlefront 2 to the most amazing Star Wars Game ever Made which is the game that the moderators Made. Is EA Games is smart they also pay a decent amount of money to these moderators because when EA Games upgrades this old game they are going to receive an enormous amount of new players on consoles and also on PC which of course will provide more money to EA Games eventually. While at it, I would also realize a crossplay mechanism for this amazing game. And by amazing game I mean the game that the moderators made. I only have this game for a few days and it some research on the internet for a few hours to come to the conclusion that this game is actually very very good and EA Games left it for dead. The second thing you find out is that moderators made an amazingly cool game. Actually one of the best games I've ever seen and I'm not even a Star Wars fan can you Imagine? Anywhere yeah I hope that someone from EA Games or dice reads this message and seize a potential for Star Wars battlefront 2 because this is a very very good game but not the basic game but only the game that the moderators made. Connect with the moderators, invest some money to these guys to eventually make an enormous amount of extra money on this game. Galactic Assault camera locks after objective completion, forcing respawn
When you complete a team objective the characters in the servers on pc force your character to stare in one direction and no matter what you do or move your mouse you cant move, you have to respawn for it to work normal again. but does it multiple times in the game. Battlefront II shows available soon 2017 in ea app
my xbox account is linked to my ea account and i have xbox game pass ultimate which includes ea play but in the ea app the game shows available soon 2017 instead of being available to install or play and because of this i cannot access or install it through the ea app also the on xbox app on pc crashes immediately when i open the game page for this game i already tried restarting both apps signing out and back in and checking account linking and deleting cashe and all that stuff> i really dont know what to do now> can someone pleases help? thank youBF II don't start
Hello, I am reaching out to support because Star Wars Battlefront II has not been working for several weeks and I have exhausted every solution I could find. Exact symptom: the game launches, the window opens for about 2 seconds, it attempts to go fullscreen, then silently closes and reopens the EA launcher. No error message, no error code, nothing. Sometimes it accepts to launch once or twice, then stops working entirely afterwards, without any changes made on my end between sessions. System configuration: - GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X - Secure Boot: Enabled - BIOS Mode: UEFI - Game purchased via Steam, tested via both Steam AND the EA App Troubleshooting steps already attempted without success: - Full uninstall of the game (including system files) and reinstall - Clean AMD driver reinstall using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) - Disabled Radeon Anti-Lag - Installed Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2022 x64 and x86 - Cleared the EA App cache - Verified game file integrity via Steam (no corrupted files detected) - Reinstalled EA AntiCheat via EAAntiCheat.Installer as administrator - Checked environment variables (no GAME_DATA_DIR present) - Disabled DirectX 12 in the game config files - Checked Windows Event Viewer (no error logged at the time of the crash) I suspect the issue is related to EA Javelin AntiCheat silently killing the process, as the behavior matches exactly: silent crash with no message, random between sessions, no trace in Windows logs. For some reason every time I press shift, control, alt or any key that aren't letters my screen starts to spin uncontrollably, I strictly use keyboard and mouse I don't even have any controllers connected so I know that isn't the issue, I had to switch all my keybinds just to play the game which is quite annoying and I would really like to fix this issue.
Xbox App crashes instantly when opening Star Wars Battlefront II page
Hello everyone, I am having a specific issue with Star Wars Battlefront II via PC Game Pass. Every time I click to open the Battlefront II game page inside the Xbox App, the Xbox App instantly crashes and closes. Through testing, I found that the crash only happens when the EA App integration extension is enabled in the Xbox App. If I disable the EA extension, the app stops crashing. Other EA Play games work completely fine; it is only happening with Battlefront II. I have already tried a massive amount of troubleshooting, including: - Reinstalling the EA App, Xbox App, and Gaming Services - Clearing all app caches and updating Windows - Relinking my EA and Xbox accounts - Completely formatting my PC and reinstalling Windows Since it persists even after a full Windows format, it seems to be a specific account-level integration bug between EA Play and the Xbox App for this specific game. Ewok Hunt has game breaking glitches
Ewok Hunt is completely broken and has been for several updates now — can we PLEASE get a fix? Two bugs are killing the mode: first, black screens and movement locks right when the evacuation ship is about to spawn, and second, random mid-game freezes that force you to respawn for no reason. It's not an occasional glitch, it's constant and game-breaking. A lot of us bought Battlefront 2 specifically for this mode. It's genuinely sad to see it in this state. Dev team, please acknowledge this.
