Routing failure when trying to read from certain bookcases

I have the same issue with the small bookshelves. I like to place them on dressers but my sims have a routing error or go to a different bookshelf instead. I even moved one to an end table but had the same issue. I've noticed it with the Moschino, Lovestruck, and grilled cheese bookends. But the issue seems to affect all small interactive objects, as I'm having the exact same issue with the cross stitch box. 

After the July 1st update I can no longer put books away in (or in some cases get books from) certain bookshelves: Love's Little Book Collection, That's So Crow Bookends, Strike-a-Prose Bookends, Melt Master's Mini-Library, Bragging's Bookend, The Collection, Best of Nonfiction, Media Marathoner All-on-the-Wall and Media Marathoner. 

This is a brand new vanilla test game.

While some of these were not working before the July 1st update, many of them were working - like the Media Marathoner All-on-the-Wall and Media Marathoner which I was using immediately before the update - and are now broken. So this should be considered one of the things broken by the July 1 2025 update as well. 

(I haven't written a bug report before, so apologies if there is missing information or already reported)

Background:

My sim was reading the Handiness Skill Book Vol 1 obtained from the current Event, when I first encountered this glitch, which went away once I dragged the book myself into the book shelf. This then happened again while my sim was reading Vol 2 of the Handiness Skill Book (obtained the same way). This is when I went on this forum to see if this was a reported bug (and it doesn't seem like it is).

Issue:

When my sim autonomously puts away a book, it starts to spawn in the same location on the floor even though the book was on the desk, and once the book is put away, it reappears on the floor and the action repeats. I included a video of this happening to make the bug more clear.

Other information: 

(just in case this helps track down the bug better.)

• My sim lives in Mt. Komorebi at 2-4-1 Wakabamori
• It is the smallest possible tiny lot
• I did use bb.moveobjects on to place a lot of the furniture
• I am on a Mac & I don't use any mods or cc at all

I'm playing with the new expansion pack "Enchanted by Nature" and the tabletop book storage object "Toadstool Fables Library" is inaccessible. When I have my sim go read a book from it, she acts like her path to it is blocked.

I tried moving it to a different location, which had the same result.

I switched it out for a different tabletop book storage object (literally placed it in the exact same location) and the sim had no problem grabbing books.

I'm playing with no Mods or CC  This is a fresh game save that has never had mods or CC.

I can use it in a different household. This is a confusing problem. I really don't like inconsistent issues.
