EA, please make half grid walls!
I’ve recently been recreating my own house in the Sims4 & the layout isn’t quite right at all. What would make it better is a half grid wall! It would absolutely help other builds too, allowing for a bit more accuracy when it comes to designing. please EA, with all these new updates & packs, please make half grid walls! This fan would very much appreciate it!
No Broom?
So I have both Bites The Dust and Eco Living, and I'm shocked to see there is no off-the-grid alternatives to the vacuum for people who want to live off the grid but also keep their home clean! With how long it's been since they both came out, I'm very surprised there hasn't been anyone else talking about it. We have brooms for decor, but they're not functional. It'd be nice to see a couple varieties of brooms and mops, much like we have a variety of vacuums. Maybe a tiny hand brush, a bushy straw broom, a modern broom and dustpan, and maybe even one of those funky carpet sweeper things. For mops, maybe a rag/sponge and bucket, a big rag mop, with a bigger bucket, and a swiffer-type mop.Arab representation + Collab with FGG
Hi, Historically Europe has been influence and mixed with the Arab cultures. For example the numbers that we use today are Western Arabic numerals. Maxis is trying to avoid stereotypes with The Sims 4, so it would be interesting to see something different to the traditional Egypt/Mummy/Pyramid that we saw in The Sims 3. Maybe FakeGamerGirl could help the studio to do it right. EA added Muslim CAS in 2019 and Courtyard Oasis Kit in 2021 but it's not enough to build a city. Plus I would like a new desert world not inspired by USA. The style could be similar to Mt. Komorebi, I like a lot when there are local activities specific to a world (In the case of Mt. Komorebi : sports, adventure, hiking, relaxing in an onsen)
Hole in the wall Bars
In theory this shouldn't be too difficult to add as there are already items that do this (the kitchen thing from the restaurant pack for example). It would be really handy if the bars with frames (you could do this for all bars, but the ones with frames make the most sense) could be 'hole in the wall' items - i.e. can be placed over walls and be functional. Trying to fake this effect is tricky at best and always looks off in some way.
Japanese futons please?
Now that we have functional sleeping bags and the blanket that sims can woohoo in, it would be nice if they added functional Japanese futon-style bed(s?)/bedding to the game. I'm using sleeping bags currently but I would love to see something with at least most of the functionality of a bed but that we can have Sims put in their inventory or store somewhere once the night is through. Also, please let there be multiple options of this (maybe 3-5 double bed style and 3 single). It'd be neat to see this implemented in the game.
Some Medieval Throwback content?
Hello - I have been enjoying Sims 4 a lot - but recently I have played Sims Medieval, and I would love to see some callbacks to it (like maybe a Renn Faire pack, with callbacks to the Professions from the game too, like Physician, Spy, Warrior, Jester, Monarch, Peteran and Jacoban faith skills and rivalries between faiths, swordfighting skill etc) It would be really cool to have these things in Sims 4!
