26 Years Later: Please Remaster Red Alert 2 & Yuri’s Revenge
Hello, Commanders! I am a long-time Command & Conquer player from Taiwan, and I am writing to express my sincere hope that Electronic Arts will consider developing a faithful remaster of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge. For more than 25 years, these games have remained among the most memorable real-time strategy titles I have ever played. Their fast-paced gameplay, distinctive factions and units, unforgettable characters, live-action cinematics, iconic music, humor, and highly replayable skirmish mode created an experience that has never truly been replaced. As Red Alert 2 approaches its 26th anniversary, I believe this is the perfect time to preserve these classics and introduce them to a new generation of players. I am not asking for the games to be completely redesigned. I hope EA will consider a faithful, preservation-focused remastered collection that includes both Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge, following the spirit of the 2020 Command & Conquer Remastered Collection. What I hope to see in a remastered collection: 1.The original campaigns, factions, units, gameplay, atmosphere, humor, and identity preserved. 2.Full compatibility with modern Windows systems. 3.Widescreen support, 4K graphics, updated visual effects, and smoother performance. 4.Restored and remastered live-action cinematics, voices, sound effects, and music. 5.Rebuilt online multiplayer with modern lobbies, matchmaking, stable connections, and anti-cheat support. 6.Skirmish and LAN modes preserved. 7.A modern map editor with mod and Steam Workshop support. 8.Optional quality-of-life and accessibility improvements without changing the classic gameplay. 9.Full Traditional Chinese localization for players in Taiwan. 10.A complete premium-game experience without pay-to-win mechanics. I understand that developing a remaster requires careful evaluation of market demand and development costs. If EA is not ready to announce a project, perhaps an official player survey, EA Playtest, or Steam wishlist page could be created first to measure worldwide interest. As a loyal player, I would gladly pay for a high-quality remastered collection of Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge. To the EA and Command & Conquer teams: please consider passing this request to the people responsible for the future of the franchise. We are not asking for confidential information or an immediate announcement. We simply hope that the continuing demand for these games will be heard and seriously evaluated. To my fellow Commanders: If you would purchase a Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge Remastered Collection, please LIKE this post and leave a comment below. You can also share: 1.Which country or region you are from. 2.How long you have played Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge. 3.Which remastering feature matters most to you. 4.Whether you would purchase the remastered collection. Let us show EA that the worldwide Red Alert 2 community is still alive. It may be time to hear these words once again: Welcome back, Commander.Suggestion: Bring Red Alert to Mobile with Two-Finger Box-Select
The success of Rusted Warfare on mobile wouldn't have been possible without two-finger box-select. Box-selecting is simply the process of dragging from a start point to an end point. With two-finger box-select, one finger rests at the starting point, the other at the ending point — a single motion completes the selection, much like Apple's two-finger pinch-to-zoom. This takes full advantage of a phone's multi-touch capability. The failed iOS port of Red Alert years ago suffered precisely from the box-select problem. Today, the PlayStation version of Red Alert 1 and the original Red Alert 2 can both run smoothly on phones via emulators, and a community has already formed around this. But Red Alert 2 still relies on single-finger box-select, which is always one beat too slow. The UI, however, is basically fine. Red Alert OL has generated tens of millions of yuan in monthly revenue — equivalent to several million US dollars — with total gross revenue exceeding six billion yuan. This proves that the RTS IP still has a massive market on mobile. Furthermore, Rusted Warfare workshop mods have surpassed 470,000 monthly downloads, with peak concurrent players reaching 38,000. This proves that RTS as a genre itself still has a massive market on mobile. My suggestion: take the original versions of Command & Conquer 1, Red Alert 1, Command & Conquer 2, and Red Alert 2, package them directly into a single mobile title, implement two-finger box-select touch controls, and release it for sale.Добрый день,сделайте игру COMAND AND CONCQEAR на PS5

Command and conquer would be awesome to get a Remaster all across the board with graphics and 64x Architecture to improve modding capabilities to drop the GB limit on mods. All the titles from Generals,Zero hour,Red alert, Tiberium wars, and kanes Wrath. Dawn of war definitive edition is a prime example of this.[Bug Report] TS /Ra2/YR - Tooltips malfunction
In the Steam version (tested TS, RA2 and YR ), the in-game Tooltips (the pop-up text that appears when hovering over units/buildings) does not function. Note: For verification, I tested a pirated 1.001 version of YR ,and the Tooltips works normally there. Has anyone had the same issues while installing the game? When I installed the original C&C The First Decade CD ROM, but when I tried to get the game started, my iMac doesn't seem to support it. The CD ROM box says Windows OS...no Mac so I'm assuming I would need something to make it work. I then went to the EA website and I was able to download and install the EA App and I found the game under "All EA games under one roof" catalog, strategy genre. However, when I select the any of the C&C options, I get the following error when trying to upload the page: "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred while loading http://www.ea.com (see browser console for more information)." Can anyone help?
