Mass False Bans for “Balance Transfer” on PC
Throwback to 24.12.25, when EA’s automated detection system flagged thousands of PlayStation accounts for “balance transfer.” After 8–10 hours, they fixed the issue and unbanned everyone with a single click. Everyone thought the problem was resolved, the Wildcards promo continued, and the money kept flowing. Now, three weeks later, guess what’s happening on PC? Exactly the same thing that happened on Christmas Eve. Multiple accounts in my community have been banned over the span of just two days. Casual players, traders — you name it. I even tested the issue myself by hopping onto unused accounts, trading a few cards, and playing a couple of Rivals games. And guess what? After about 10 hours of normal gameplay, I got banned for literally no reason. We didn’t sell coins. Most of us didn’t use any external web app add-ons or bots. Just regular Weekend League gameplay with some trading on the side to improve our teams — literally using the in-game market as intended. My friends and I did some research to figure out what might have caused this. We reviewed the cards we bought and sold, as well as our profits and losses. Across all 14 accounts, there was exactly one common card purchased on every single account: Ibanez Winter Wildcard. The point of this post is to make this issue public and hopefully get it noticed by someone at EA. Many people have lost their time, money, and nerves. EA Help’s policy is based almost entirely on automated responses, so when you try to appeal a ban, you’re stuck resending the same message only to get rejected by a bot 24 hours later. It’s incredibly frustrating. I've already made a post on Reddit and X both got quite a big attention, but still no action by EA. So please, if you’re in the same situation, upvote this post. I love womens football. My wife was a professional player, so I watched a lot of it. And of course watched tons of mens of football as well. I used to play a little too. There is no comparison between mens and womens football. Not even in the highest levels of womens football and that's because of physics/nature (call it what you will). I 've watched many mixed gender friendly games of professional teams (mainly for charity and/or promotion) and there is no way to compare the physicallity of men to that of women. Men central defenders devour women attackers, even if they are the smallest and fastest women attackers. What EA is doing to this game is WRONG. It takes away the "truthfulness", the sense of the game that most people know, love and appreciate. I understand that there are a lot of players that are not interested in football, don't know how it's played properly and/or don't even care. They probably never played the real game and/or watched one. They only want fast/small/powerfull players and EA provides just that, by (wrongfully) overpowering women football players. But for those of us that like True Football, this is crazy! Does not make sense and it is something that, in the future, may affect the real game. Would you like to see Pina playing for the Barcelona Mens team? She would have a hard time even concetrating from all the "grabbing", pushing, shoving, cursing, hitting that happens during a real game. Would it be nice to have Haaland playing with the Manchester City ladies team. Who would be able to stop him??? And because Haaland plays a bit dirty (the nature of the game), he would end up with harassment lawsuits every week! This game is absolutely rigged. I'm playing FUT Champs and take a 2-1 lead. All of the sudden, my players have 0 ball control. All of their touches feel like knock-on dribbles. At least I can still defend, right? Wrong! My opponent proceeds to score 3 unanswered goals off of some total BS. Goal #1: I activate the offsides trap and all but 1 defender rush forward. All he has to do is turn and shoot. Goal#2: I win the ball back with my LCB when my RCB decides to run into me. I lose the ball and he scores. Goal#3: Botched clearance from a corner. Hello, I am playing EA SPORTS FC on PS5 Digital. After the latest update, I get error code CE-107928-7 every time I try to enter Ultimate Team. Other game modes work normally. I tried: - Rebuilding database - Reinstalling the game - Logging out and back into EA account - Updating PS5 system software The issue is still happening. I’m posting to ask for help and escalation on my own case, but also to raise awareness of what appears to be a wider, ongoing issue affecting PC players. Timeline of my account: Jan 18th – First transfer market ban applied for alleged Coin Distribution, appealed the same day - case #235503244 21st – Ban confirmed as incorrect and overturned, went back to normal playing the game and active trading 26th – Second transfer market ban issued for alleged Coin Distribution, appealed the same day - case #236233027 28th – Received an email and case update confirming the ban was incorrectly applied and overturned. Despite this, transfer market access was not restored, so I submitted another case the same day as advised by a customer care agent and advised that it would be resolved quickly - submitted case #236430848 30th (today) – Received another confirmation agreeing the ban was incorrect and would be lifted. However, my account is still restricted from the transfer market! Spoke with customer care again and advised to submit another case to ToS which could be up to 10 days wait. Submitted case #236593866 So despite the ToS team agreeing that the bans were applied in error, full functionality has still not been restored since the most recent ban. I’ve now lost over 9 days and counting of transfer market access during TOTY, purely due to repeated false positives and delays in restoring access. Beyond my own case, this clearly isn’t isolated. Many PC players are reporting the same issues. It strongly suggests a systemic issue with the automated detection system on PC, particularly impacting active traders. Hey EA Support Team and fellow FC players, I’m one of the many players caught in the **mass false bans on January 16th at 9:40 AM**, and I’m absolutely devastated. My account [edit: email address removed] was hit with a permanent ban and a generic "cheating" accusation—even though I’ve done nothing wrong. To add context, I’m an **EA Play Pro member** who’s invested both time and money into supporting EA’s ecosystem. I purchased EA Sports FC on **December 28th**, and since then, I’ve logged **242.2 hours** of straight, legitimate gameplay: grinding Division Rivals, clearing Squad Battle objectives, and playing casual matches with friends. I only use my **Xbox Elite Controller Series 2**—no hacks, mods, exploits, or modified hardware of any kind. As a paying EA Play Pro member, this ban feels like a slap in the face. I’ve poured hundreds of hours into this game and trusted EA’s anti-cheat system, only to be caught in a widespread glitch that’s ruined my experience. The "cheating" claim in the ban notice is completely false, and the 242.2 hours of consistent, normal gameplay on my account proves it. This game is virtually unplayable. The unstable connection/lag/input delay is off the charts. EVEN THE MENUS TAKE FOREVER TO LOAD. I can't even complete one match without some sort of connection issue. EA created a game for wannabe pros. They neglected the fact we don't all play at their little tournaments. Therefore, we all don't have access to these private servers. Instead of resolving the issue, they have decided to just release more store packs (with incredibly terrible odds). Perfect timing only works with perfect connection. I can't time my runs correctly and my players always run offsides because of the input delay. Unstable connection is ruining my player's ball control. They receive the pass and it looks like they are trying to juggle/perform skill moves as the ball bounces up and away. I keep losing matches because it feels like the game is rigged against me more than my opponent is better. It just feels like all his players have Tiki-Taka+ and First Touch+ while my players have "Worst" Touch+ and "Panic" Proven+.
