Young Ghosts Return Thread 2.0
I had to remake this thread since 1 edit to correct stuff since It was way outdated got it falsely removed by auto mod and wanted to get the main page up to date. So I have to remake it. I'm going to use the info from mod the sims to make it easier on myself. This mod brings back the old days where you can cheat Younger sims to be ghosts. With the Life and death update. The sims team restricted on which ages can be which type of Ghosts. Which made Toddler, Infants, adult pets and baby pets to no longer be ghosts. This mod allows the old days again so they can be ghosts again. There are side effects like stretching from young meteor ghosts doing the death animation. Toddlers walking slow but other then that it works well. Toddlers who have the laughter trait can make people playful like adult. This will also fix certain features like The premade Ghost Dog Captain Whittaker and fix the wishing well issues when you get a Ghost Child from there. I made this mod personally but I had people ask me from places to share it. Pets can only be Old age for reasons. I will say this. Bugs. I don't want to get this one removed and that might have been the reason. It brings the old days. They still can't die but you add the ghost traits with Cheats like the trait equip cheat. MCCC or UI cheats. The traits were enabled for them so all ghost types in the normal game are enabled for them but not death. You just have to add the traits to them with cheats like how it was before Life and death patch. If you use Young Ghosts Return and want to upload them to the Gallery or somewhere. So, my sims just got married, I save the game and then exit. when I got back playing again relationship status reverts back and have to ask my sims to be romantic partner again. So I go all through the process of getting married, save and save as before i close the game. When I got back on again, same thing relationship reverts back again. And I keep doing the process all over and over, save and save but still nothing. T_T any idea?Last Exception From MCCC
Hi, I was recently having an issue in every new save file I create where when my sims travel to community lots, there are no staff or townies there at all. I thought I fixed the problem after removing a mod I thought to be causing it (Turbolib Simulation Unclogger), and the game worked fine and then it started randomly doing it again. I tested in multiple different new saves and it was still happening. I have been trying to fix this for days and cannot find a fix. I even tested the game with no mods and it was still doing it. I downloaded the new Royalty pack that came out today (along with the bonus content). I own all of the expansions, game packs, etc. There doesn't seem to be a way for me to get the etiquette skill. I have tried everything- I cannot buy the book, I can't practice in any mirror, I can't use the common cheats for skills- it's like it doesn't exist. Can someone point me in the right direction? platform; pc/windows game version; 1.120.140.1020 mods/cc used; yes EDIT 1-20-2026 @ 8:25PM, EST UPDATE: WE HAVE FOUND THE CULPRIT! i had a few twistedmexi mods in my game (AlwaysMOO, AlwaysTesting, AlwaysFullEditMode) and once i removed those, the aspiration updated as intended. sorry again for the confusion!! EDIT 1-19-2026 @ 7PM, EST okay, so upon restarting my game, the aspiration has updated and now shows checkmarks on the completed tasks that i personally marked as completed last session. but now it's not updating again when i try to complete new tasks. im honestly so frustrated trying to do this T_T i don't want to have to cheat to mark off the tasks and then restart every time i want to see an update. no matter how many times i try to complete the tasks in this aspiration, they will not check off as completed. i have used cheats to try to get them to check off (after having done the same task probably 5 extra times to no avail...) and it will move the aspiration forward, but it won't show that step of the aspiration as "completed" in the panel. i know there have been instances of this happening with other aspirations but i didn't see any posts referencing this specific issue. this is the first time i have ever struggled to complete an aspiration task before. below i have included a screenshot showing that the aspiration progressed to the next level (because i used a cheat to "complete" them since the game would not register my progress...) but it doesn't register that it was actually completed. i understand that specific part might be because of the cheating... but my main concern is the fact that it would not register me doing things. the only ones i can get to trigger are the level tasks ("reach level ___") i hope this makes sense. please feel free to ask for clarification! this is my first time using the forums so forgive me if proper etiquette is missed. All the dubug items don´t show up. I enable testingcheats, then bb.showhiddenobjects (which seems to work) and bb.showliveeditobjects but the debug items aren´t showin up. No trees or rocks or something. All my mods and the game is up to date. I even repaired my game a couple of days ago. Would be nice if this could be fixed. I think I do everything right and like I used to do, but for a long time the items just don´t show up.
