Young Ghosts Return Thread plus my other mods
I had to remake this thread since 1 edit to correct stuff since It was way outdated got it falsely removed by auto mod and wanted to get the main page up to date. So I have to remake it. I'm going to use the info from mod the sims to make it easier on myself. This mod brings back the old days where you can cheat Younger sims to be ghosts. With the Life and death update. The sims team restricted on which ages can be which type of Ghosts. Which made Toddler, Infants, adult pets and baby pets to no longer be ghosts. This mod allows the old days again so they can be ghosts again. There are side effects like stretching from young meteor ghosts doing the death animation. Toddlers walking slow but other then that it works well. Toddlers who have the laughter trait can make people playful like adult. This will also fix certain features like The premade Ghost Dog Captain Whittaker and fix the wishing well issues when you get a Ghost Child from there. I made this mod personally but I had people ask me from places to share it. Pets can only be Old age for reasons. I will say this. Bugs. I don't want to get this one removed and that might have been the reason. It brings the old days. They still can't die but you add the ghost traits with Cheats like the trait equip cheat. MCCC or UI cheats. The traits were enabled for them so all ghost types in the normal game are enabled for them but not death. You just have to add the traits to them with cheats like how it was before Life and death patch. If you use Young Ghosts Return and want to upload them to the Gallery or somewhere. Make sure to include this in the description. #YoungGhostsReturn That way. People will know the mod used in the upload with young ghosts and why it's marked as custom content. Other Mods More grown up toddlers (Toddlers don't use nappies/diapers on their own unless bladder is -75 for level 1 or 2 potty skilled toddler or -100 for level 3. No more changing them since it doesn't add diaper load points but tanks their Hygiene to -100. Also hides the use nappy/diaper self interaction.) No Awake for too long Infants (Stops infants from getting the awake for too long moodlet which I stopped the infant awake time status from decaying.) Upcoming Mods None at the moment
Cheats no longer working on PC - no mods or cc
I run Sims 4 on a PC, I noticed that it was running slow, my households were no longer showing on the main page and I was unable to have any cheats work on New games, they do work on my saved games. Due to the extreme slowness I did all of the normal "fixes" - deleted cache, repaired game, uninstalled and reinstalled all games (Rebooting in the middle) game is vanilla and I'm still unable to run cheats ctrl shift c -- testing cheats true -- cas.fulleditmode -- any of them. Is there any thing more I can do or is this due to the update that hit? Thank you
Downloading Sim from the gallery unlocks hidden CAS items
Maybe it's just my game. I play on Mac without mods, only expansion packs. I've been dealing with this problem since I started playing Sims 4 around 2024. If I download a sim from the gallery doesn’t matter if it's an old sim or a new sim that was just uploaded; my game will automatically unlock all of the hidden CAS items. Please fix this bug!!!! I don’t really know if this is a bug, but I am reporting it so someone can help me. I gave one of my sims co workers a makeover and I realised his career outfit didn’t change with my makeover, so then I added him to my family and used the correct cheat, but it didn’t work, so I moved him into his own house, used the cheat, and it didn’t work. I really want his career outfit to be different but it won’t work (they are in the doctor career if that helps) if anyone knows what to do please let me know (I can’t use mods as I am playing on ps4) Edit By crinrict: Added tag to title, adjusted titleMy sim can't afford to repair something fished out of the dumpster
In my gameplay, my sim's boyfriend dumpster dives to sell stuff for money and to use the stuff found. I used the cheat for the smog vacuum, but apparently she can't afford to repair it? Can someone tell me and to fix this? I'm not even sure where to begin.
