Origin to EA App Sims 4 question
Hi all! I have not yet transitioned to the new EA app because my very old computer’s OS is not compatible (even after updating). I had a Mac but am considering buying a PC this time around for gaming. Will my games still transfer? I understand the files won’t but I’m okay with starting from scratch if I can do it on a newer computer. TIA!
How do I make a shortcut to game in my library after installation?
As question asks. In my experience creating a shortcut directly to the .exe causes issues so I'm assuming that's not a viable option. I'm not seeing any other option in the launcher to create a shortcut though, so... where is it? It's not seriously only available on first installation, is it?
Childerns Account - Can't add as friend - "Couldn't send request'
Can anyone help me please! My 10 year old is on his xbox with xbox live we bought him F1 25 with the idea of myself playing with him on my pc. He's playing it offline and online and I've tried to import him as a friend through me EA app and I get '' Couldn't send request '' I thought I would log into his account put his email in and then his password and I get '' Your credentials are incorrect or have expired. Please try again or reset your password.'' I reset his password and I get them same again I don't understand what's going off what am I missing? Can anyone point me in the right direction please? We bought the game to race against each other and to make a team together seems a waste of money now! We both had F1 24 on my game pass and thought we couldn't play 24 because of that both using my xbox game pass. So that's why I bought the game through his own xbox account thinking that would work but no! Any help please?
EA App vs Steam Big Picture
When I launch EA Sports FC 26 from Steam, the EA App takes over and often fails to launch for some reason. I switch back to Steam and try again then EA Sports FC loads in the background and I have to minimize Steam to then select the app, or worse, the app takes visual focus but not input so my controller inputs are being sent to steam still - which generally results in me shutting down the machine accidentally. Please tell me there's a better way to do things with this app. I've read that having it load on start-up can help but then it loads its UI and doesn't allow to be minimised on launch. It's a horrible experience.
