Its been raised more than a handfull of times but EA, something has to change!
It is 2025, tech advancements mean that we dont just get better and more complex games but also cheats get better and more complex. However it's no excuse for EA to be basically the sole large game company that disregards the entire linux community. I fully understand in more competative games such as Battlefield and some elements of sports titles, that adding Linux support for EA anticheat is maybe undesirable to the EA anti-cheat team or EA as a whole. But even with the advancements and invasion of privacy that Kernel level software brings, even the addition of measures like secure boot, Anti-Cheat remains an issue regardless. Titles that are non competative have zero reason to be excluded from the enjoyment of the Linux gaming community, especially seeing as one of the largest and most popular hand held devices is Linux based and has now officially rolled out its software to other handheld hardware. Skate, FC26, NHL, NFL all would be fantastic titles for both handhelds and for those in the linux community to enjoy, even if the competative side of those games wasnt available on linux, just casual or offline play. You used to provide support but slowly you have just disregarded a huge proportion of the gaming community and removed all access to any EA game with an online element. there is no reason a game like Skate. should be unplayable on linux due to anti cheat software, it does not need the same protections as a competative shooter such as Call of Duty, Battlefield etc. EA, please start making better decisions for the community!4Views0likes0CommentsPlay Pro Subscription problem
Dear EA, I have a few questions about your products and how badly you manage your developer's and QA's teams how hard is for you to make sure that you sell a nice and ready product I am paying every month about 18$ for your Play Pro membership and half of this time ether there is problem with servers or there is a problem with your products who is gonna compensait all people around the world like me which are scrulled by your services? Almost 1 hour has passed after you launched the EA FC26, and still, a problem, and every player using the EA PLAY PRO subscription membership can't log in. What are you gonna do about that, except to just fix these problems of yours? P.S. This is not a hate message, just a reminder that we are not gonna tolerate you and your mistakes anymore.63Views3likes3CommentsA true disappointment
This is a joke. I'm sure that the 12 year olds are going to go crazy for this game for exactly 1 week. The game is terrible. The only thing I like, which I thought that I would hate, is the character creator, which is only good because Session doesn't actually have one. I can't believe that this is what I waited for. Micro casino's and laggy servers. Androgenous clothes and no pros. The effort is clear, and I won't support it. At least you could have added an XL/Session option to make it feel more real. It's not like the scheme is brand new. Good luck with the "Modern Audience". We all know how long their attention span is, and how deep their wallets go.13Views0likes0CommentsYou can't make this up
I made a new ea account and p. Magically, I'm able to get past hedge busters, so now I'm going to go and delete this account and go and change that username to this username. Thanks, ea, thank you for delivering us. Trash for free and then expecting us to like it because you knew **bleep**. Well, you weren't gonna make enough money. Off of a free game that was full of bugs. So you had to rush it, all of this stuff should have been fixed in the play test. I repeat ALL OF THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED IN THE PLATE TEST and if this wasn't a life service game, ninety percent of these issues would not be a issue13Views0likes0CommentsNot able to get Live Support via EA-Help/Salesforce
Hello, I am trying to somehow get my account reset so that I can link my Twitch account since the years old twitch account got deleted and I got a new one for the Twitch drops. I really want to keep my EA Account that I have since 2008 and not use a new one just for Twitch drops, I think I have every battlefield that was not on DVD/CD on that account. I tried to contact EA Help, but sadly something must be wrong. The EA Advisor booted me out of the chat without help because "I contacted him from another account" which of course, I was not. I made a new account and it seems on the new account your CRM System is working correctly the E-Mail does not show up as "null" but of course this is another Account i just opened for testing my end. I tried everything from myside resetting browser, cookies, sign out, sing in, multiple times. Something seems to be wrong with my Account EA ID: AMREX I attached screenshots of Salesforce/Connect Flow How am I able to get help?34Views0likes1CommentHelp! This is a Ridiculous set up
So I have an OLD EA Account (from 2008) with the same email as my Xbox Account and the 2 were linked a long while ago. i now use Xbox GPU and it linked up to my old EA account but my EA account has changed (was changed in 2013) when trying to link it, it auto linked to my new microsoft email which is now an automatic xbox account. Finally got everything unlinked to link the right EA account to the right XBOX account to find that this isn't possible, only 1 XBOX link in an EA accounts lifetime? So now what i need to create a NEW one? then what about the games i already have linked to this account? this seems so stupid that you can unlink them but cannot link them to another account? I can't even delete the EA account that hasn't been used in almost 20 years... I'm going mad here. 😭Solved22Views0likes1CommentEA Game Versions
If I have two versions of a game, one license on Steam and the other license from the EA app. Does it give me the ability to choose which platform to download and update the game? For example: I have Battlefield 2042 on Steam, but it does not give me the option to buy the EA Version or even download from the EA app stating that I should manage the game from Steam. So what happens if I redeem a EA app version of Battlefield 2042 alongside my Steam licensed version? Does it add a EA app version of the game, does it merge both licenses giving access to both platforms, or does it reject the license because I already have it on Steam? I tried this with Starwars Battlefront 2, I originally had a EA App version of it, and I also have a EPIC Games Store version. Upon installing the EPIC Games Store version, it changed my Battlefront 2's artwork cover adding the EPIC logo on top of it in my EA App library. It allows me to download either from the EPIC Games Store or the EA App, I did not even need EPIC Games Store installed because it recognises my EPIC version even without the EPIC Games Store being installed. Now from what I undestand Steam manages it's own installation and updates, where as EPIC required the EA App to cover the backend installation. If I did not own an EA version of Starwars Battlefront 2, then would that mean I would only beable to initialise the installation from the Epic Games Store and not the EA app exclusively. If you can not manage multiple platform versions, then this really should be looked at by either allowing the individual to select between EA App, Epic or Steam. Additionaly, I also want to point out that the inability to change the games artwork to remove the Steam or Epic logo is also rather annoying. EA App Artwork: No Logo identifying the EA app version. Steam and Epic Artwork with Logos identifying the version. But what if we own two versions of the same game on different platforms, what happens to the artwork in your library?85Views0likes2CommentsMy Steam account is linked to a blank account,
My Steam account is bound to a blank EA account, which has the same information as my current EA account, but I cannot receive the verification code. As a result, I am unable to unlink it through EA's official channel. Now, I cannot play EA-related games on my Steam account. Is there any solution to this issue?Solved38Views0likes1Comment
