FC 26 PC — Youth Tournament Team Management Screen Locks Up Completely
TITLE FC26 PC - Youth Tournament Team Management Screen Freezes PLATFORM PC GAME MODE Manager Career Mode - Youth Academy Tournament BUG DESCRIPTION During a Youth Academy Tournament match, I pause the game and open Team Management to change players using substitutes bench. However, I cannot select or substitute any players from the bench. The game then becomes stuck on the Team Management screen. Pressing the controller's Back Button B or the Keyboard's Esc key does nothing. I cannot return to the pause menu or resume the match, so I have to force-close the game. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Start Manager Career Mode Enter a Youth Tournament match Pause the match Open Team Management Try to chang a player using the substitutes bench Press B on the controller or Esc on the keyboard to exit EXPECTED RESULT I should be able to substitute players and return to the match normally ACTUAL RESULT The substitutes cannot be selected and the Team Management screen become unresponsive to the Back and Esc commands. Please investigate and fix this issue in the future update.Connection
I keep getting kicked out of the game with the error message "Unable to connect to EA servers." While playing Rivals, my ping suddenly spikes from 37 ms to 1081 ms whenever I get close to my opponent's side of the field. After halftime, I was disconnected from the match, which caused my rank to drop. This has happened multiple times, and it's extremely frustrating because I'm losing rank due to connection issues rather than my actual gameplay. In PS5 , the game FC26 doesn't save player transfers... I spent 10 hours setting up my team and players, and now I feel completely cheated... everything has been ruined... I wasted my money on something utterly useless... you really ought to give me a refund. 🤬🤬🤬
FC 26 Ultimate Edition – You Don't Have Access Error (Steam)
Hello EA Community Managers, I'm experiencing a persistent issue with EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Edition purchased through Steam. EA Support Case Number: 257306812 I previously played the game for over 56 hours without any issues. However, after uninstalling and reinstalling it, I can no longer launch it. Every time I launch the game through Steam, EA App displays the following error: "You don't have access. This title may have been downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game." My Steam account is correctly linked to my EA account. EA App also recognizes the game as "Ultimate Edition accessed through Steam." I have already tried reinstalling the game, verifying Steam files, clearing the EA App cache, repairing EA AntiCheat, restarting my PC, signing back into EA App, and following multiple troubleshooting guides. None of these steps resolved the issue. EA Support confirmed that I have already completed the troubleshooting steps and directed me to this forum. Could an EA Community Manager please review this issue and advise whether my Steam game entitlement can be checked or the case escalated to the appropriate team? J'ai lancé mon match pour l'objectif défis ultime et la caméra est resté zoomer sur le terrain et le jeux ignorais totalement mon réglage caméra habituel.... image zoomé impossible de faire mon match dans de bonne conditions, adieu la récompense pour moi. J'abandonne se jeux immonde bourré de bug . Dégouté d avoir dépenser 100e pour au final ne pas pouvoir jouer correctement.... We play locally and edit teams to make custom squads. We have done this for years on FIFA and there was never an issue until FC25 where the game crashed after you edited teams and tried to play The issue was fixed FC25 in January. To our disbelief the issue is back in FC26. There are at least 15 separate threads about the CE-108255-1 error in connection with EA FC 26. None of them have received a meaningful response from EA community managers. Two exceptions: One thread was closed without engagement because it was written in a different language. In another thread, the issue was redirected to PlayStation support, claiming it is a PSN system error, linking to this troubleshooting page: https://www.playstation.com/en-ie/support/error-codes/ps5/ce-108255-1/ The problem: The proposed solutions on that page do not fix the issue for most of us. Yes, CE-108255-1 can be a general PS5 system error. But in this case, it is very clearly tied to EA FC 26 — specifically to: Edit Teams Custom squad editing Kick Off mode (CPU vs CPU included) After extensive testing by multiple users over months, the pattern is obvious: The error occurs after heavy squad editing. It appears the EA FC 26 database becomes corrupted at its core. Once that happens, certain team constellations in Kick Off mode immediately trigger CE-108255-1. This is not random. This is reproducible. This is not fixed by: Reinstalling the game Rebuilding the database Deleting save data Changing graphics settings Clearing cache Many of us have spent hours recreating squads from scratch — only for the issue to return. If heavy editing permanently breaks the mode, that is a fundamental design flaw — not a PlayStation error. We need a real response from EA, not a redirect to Sony. PS. Platform: PlayStation 5 Game: EA SPORTS FC 26 (full game) Mode: [Kick Off, Classic Match: confirm], Semi-pro Teams: FC Barcelona (me) vs. CA Osasuna Date tested: October 6, 2026 CONSOLE DETAILS Model: CFI-1015A (original PS5 with disc drive, not Slim; 350W) Serial number: E43501VKK12779212 System software version: [Settings > System > System Software > Console Information] Game version: [shown on the FC 26 title screen or under game info] Setup: lying horizontally Condition: dust and lint have built up around the side panels and vents. [Cleaned and retested: yes/no, and whether the freezes continued] WHAT HAPPENS The screen freezes for several seconds during live play, usually as possession changes or a scoring chance develops. [The match clock stops, but the opponent can still take the ball during the freeze.] [The player-control triangles lag, stick on the previous player, or appear on the wrong one.] The same freeze happens in the FC 27 trial on this console (report: ). Because it shows up in both games, it may be a shared engine issue. A console problem such as overheating is also possible, so I'm including the console details above. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Start a [Kick Off] game (Semi-pro): FC Barcelona vs. CA Osasuna. Play normally, e.g. dribble side to side for several seconds. Approach goal to shoot, or win/lose the ball near either penalty area. The screen freezes, and the opponent may take the ball during it. [Replay with the same teams. The freeze happens again.] EXPECTED: Gameplay, controls, and stoppage cutscenes stay responsive through possession changes, shots, and tackles. ACTUAL: The screen freezes for several seconds, and [the control indicator lags or lands on the wrong player]. EVIDENCE Screen Freezes During Live Play in Kickoff - FC 26 - 1 minute & 33 seconds WHY IT MATTERS The freezes land on shots, interceptions, and tackles, when control matters most. Because the opponent can win the ball during a freeze, it feels like an unfair difficulty spike rather than a bug. It also happens in the FC 27 trial, so going back to FC 26 didn't fix it. I'm a paying FC 26 player, and this affects the game I bought. I can run more tests if useful: other teams, other modes, or a first match vs. a replay.
