Ultimate Team disconnections causing unfair losses and warnings
I am posting this publicly because private support responses are not addressing this issue.
I am repeatedly experiencing in-game disconnections during Ultimate Team matches. While the match is still ongoing, I receive the message: “Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment,” and I am returned to the main menu.
This is not caused by my internet connection. My Wi-Fi is stable, there is no packet loss, and no disconnections occur with other online games or services. This problem only happens in EA FC Ultimate Team.
Every time this happens, I am automatically given a loss, my record is affected, and I receive warnings implying that I intentionally disconnected. That accusation is completely false.
What makes this especially frustrating is that there is no lag or instability before the disconnection. The match is running normally, then the server connection drops without warning. This strongly suggests a server-side issue rather than a player-side connection problem.
It is unacceptable that players are punished for what appears to be EA server instability. Being handed losses and warnings for something outside the player’s control makes the system feel unfair and broken.
This issue is seriously damaging the Ultimate Team experience. Losing matches you did not quit and being blamed for server failures pushes players away from the game. I am close to uninstalling, and I know many others are dealing with the same problem.
EA needs to acknowledge this issue, investigate Ultimate Team server stability, and stop issuing automatic losses and warnings when these disconnections occur. Players should not be penalized for EA infrastructure failures.
