Hi everyone, welcome to my showcase thread! I started playing since the original Sims, love building in Sims 3 the most and am happy to see others still enjoying this version as well. It’s been heartwarming and inspirational to be an active part of the Sims community individually and as a member of the DNA request team. In the past several years it’s also been my pleasure to initiate / host / participate in several Sims 3 world build collaborations. No 3rd party custom content is used in my creations and they are play-tested and Custard checked before uploading. An aspect I really love is creating unique and themed builds, especially those that involve using CFE. The builds in my SIMS 3 STUDIO also include a wide range of architectural styles and blends. I do hope you enjoy my sharing as much as I enjoy building. ...who find it difficult to make a New Sim? 😎 I'm starting a new Challenge, just for myself. I wanted a new Sim. So I opened CAS and picked the first one. Naw, Not interested. :( I checked my Saved Sims and found one from years ago the game generated and I edited. He's cute. 😄 I wanted a Female. After editing the face and checking back to male, it was too bland if she has sons. :( Back to random! I edited her to make something new and ended up with nearly the same FACE I always make. 🤭 Random, random, random... No, no, no. So, why not my favorite Sim just edited a bit more. Fine! The same Sim I've enjoyed playing for years - slightly edited. Until 😺 In Game! (my computer isn't great) I laughed because she looks so surprised. Not the Sim for me. 🤔 Back to my favorite. Meet Ainsley. Don't ya love the view? A Rags2Richs on the beach start. I noticed the rules don't prohibit going to University nor going into the future Such easy money into the future... But NO. You're going to fish, Girl. You're going to struggle a bit. Do you find it has hard to get a new Sim as I do? 💖💚 *Since I see so many Adorable Sims posted, I guess I'm in a small group of Simmers. 🤳
Coastal Roads - My New Sims 3 World!
The second beta is out. I announced the first one over on my Tumblr. I also made a separate post talking about the pride flag crosswalks I created for the world. This screenshot is of the first version of the world, but for the most part, its very similar to how it looks now. It is missing the lots that CJplays will create, that assuming nothing goes wrong will be included in the final version of the map The map requires every single expansion pack and stuff pack with the exception of Katy Perry Sweet Treats as that is is the only pack I do not own. In addition it uses the following free store objects No Tricks, Just Treats More Halloween Treats More Holiday Presents Weba Yayfoo Modern HDTV by Webbsta Industries Honeycomb Bookshelf ( I'm having trouble finding this one in the store for some reason. Hope its still available ) Let there be Sims! You can download the second version along with the first official saved game file for the world. When the final version is released, the map and the saved game file will be a separate download, but for now you will have to download them together. Please make sure you playtest the map using the saved game file. The current version of Coastal Roads will have to be installed for it to work. Make sure you delete the previous version if you had it installed on your computer I am also creating some extra lots that you will be able to download separately when the final version of the map is released, that use some premium store content. Now that that's over with, here are some additional, more up to date screenshots of what the world currently looks like. Most of the sims in the pictures below are ones that I created, but a few of them are NPC townies. You will need to load the saved game file, in order to encounter them. There will not be any graveyard ghosts in the saved game file, until the final version of the map. So what do you guys think so far? Please let me know if there is anything you like or dislike about the world and if there is anything that could be improved upon. Also, please let me know what you think of my sims
Sims 3 Household Exchange
This thread is a place for people to share their Sims 3 Households, that we know are clean, and free from custom content that may cause issues in other people's games. Most user made worlds are unpopulated, and creating dozens of sims or families to fill these worlds can be a tedious experience. Sometimes you just want to get in there and play. Alternatively, people might want a fresh new batch of sims, or maybe you just might like to show off pictures of what other people's sims are getting up to in your game. Here you can post links to households for others to download. Households can be in sims3pack form, or, you can simply take the household file from the Library folder in the Documents / Sims 3 directory and share that. Sims3packs are, of course, installed through the launcher. Households in package form are dropped directly into the Library folder of your Documents / Sims 3 directory. Sharing the library file also lessens the risk of any CC tagging along. If you're using sims3packs please make sure that you scan them with Custard beforehand, to check that there is no custom content attached. To ensure than everyone can download, at this time please lets just create sims and households using base game items and traits only. No custom content or create-a-pattern please. Households can be uploaded to the exchange, if they're clean, or to places like MediaFire, Box.net, DropBox or SimFileShare ( if you know someone with a code, or are prepared to wait for account authorisation ) It's not a requirement, but perhaps include a screenshot of your household that you're sharing, and maybe their backstory if they have one. ( Please don't quote pictures in the thread responses. ) Edit - I've asked @SimGuruDrake to sticky the thread so it doesn't get lost and is easily accessible for both old and new players.

I generally run a small magazine with a small amount of staff members. I give one month to two month deadlines depending on the time of year and I love hearing YOUR suggestions. I typically design the themes, the layouts, the articles, and ideas, BUT I love hearing any ideas from my staff members. I also usually select one staff member to submit a model for the cover and model spotlight each issue so that it's not always my models. Also, I love including the community, so if you don't work for me, your images still might make it into an issue, your model still might be given a spotlight and possibly grace our cover, and feedback from you is taken into consideration! With Dark Shadowz, Faery Fae, and On Location coming to an end all at once, I couldn't possibly go on without opening a brand new one :wink: This has been one of my most favorite competitions ever. I adore the creativity that comes out of this competition and the stunning plus-sized models that you have all created in previous cycles. You read that right, models for this competition MUST be plus-sized. The term "plus-sized" can mean a great many things, but basically for this competition, your model must not look like a tooth-pick. We want to see models with curves, a thick waist, thick thighs, curvy figures, etc. In the past, I've allowed just about any body shape to enter this, even when we've had some pretty thin models. This cycle will be different. This cycle will require your models to fit the plus-sized mold. We will hold a mock assignment where we will be introduced to your model. This mock assignment will determine whether your model can participate in the competition or not. She will need to be curvy, interesting, and beautiful, of course. This is a laid back competition that will use both story-based AND editorial modeling assignments. Sometimes your photos will need to be fun, playful, candid, and story-based and sometimes they will need to be high fashion, editorial, and modelesque.
