is it possible to delete/add relationships after Royalty&Legacy?
Is it not possible to delete/add a family relationship after the R&L update? if so, why isn’t this considered a bug? MCCC was the most efficient way to do so, as going into cas you get “cannot edit pre-existing sims” but deaderpool released a statement saying they were removing the feature due to R&L. I’ve searched the internet for an alternative and found nothing, so does anyone know a solution? I was trying to remove a parent/child relationship so I could add a new one (Birth parents of an adopted child) but cannot figure out how. The best solution I can think of is to save everyone in the family to the gallery individually and THEN add family relationships but then all other relationships, degrees, milestones, etc will be lost and have to be replaced so I don’t want to do that and then it not even work..
Shiny Sims What to do??
Hi everyone I’ve been dealing with a very frustrating issue in The Sims 4 where some of my Sims suddenly get a shiny / plastic looking effect on their entire body/Face. What makes this especially confusing is that the effect seems to come and go randomly depending on zoom level, camera angle, lighting, or sometimes for no obvious reason at all. What I’ve already tried: Removed all broken / red CC that Tray Importer listed me Removed all makeup, jewelry, and accessories one by one for testing No skin overlays are applied on the particular sim Cleared cache multiple times (localthumbcache.package, etc.) Adjusted graphics settings (post processing on/off) Better Exceptions reports no errors The worst part ist it is completely random sometimes it appears after an hour sometimes 2 minute after i reloaded the save, Sometimes not always it appears and disappear when zooming in and out So what should i do? i have over 7000 CC tried the 50/50 method but since this bug appears randomly it's very hard to figure it out also i have 20 families in my neighbourhood it might be that the shiney effect on them is triggered by something else then the sim before them this....
Game crashing
Hii, I'm having a problem with my game, mainly: when I attempt to load a household it loads for a while then my game completely crashes and I get a notification saying "your app has crashed, would you like to restart it?". The game worked normally before but I noticed that the save I made last night is gone, it didn't repeat after that so I just ignored it cause nothing important happened. I'd like to mention that I have a ton of mods and downloaded some today . Rn I'm checking if any of them are causing the issue. Could it be that my save file is corrupted? I'll be extremely thankful for any insight :)
Gallery Not displaying my sims...
Hi everyone, I'm hoping that at least one person can help me with this issue I've been having for since the crazy update we had last week. Every since then, I couldn't see any of my sims I have made within the past days to years. Especially those with CC/mods on them. I have updated all my mods to its most recent version as well as toggled off script mods and even removed the entire mods folder to see if that was the issue. It was not and now I am lost and lowkey frustrated as to why I can't see my sims. All of my tray files are still in my computer under Electronic Arts My saves are there and are displaying my sims that I am currently playing with or have sitting in my saves folder If I make a new household and try to save them to the gallery, it won't actually save. Please, if you have had this issue and fixed it, let me know how you did it. Where did my sims go????Stuck in world choice
Okay, so let me try to break down everything I have tried. SO... I open the game everything loads fine, make a sim, everything is fine, go to find the world and home for said sim, everything fine until I choose the home. Then whenever it is in the loading stage where usually you'd see your sim and their home and begin their life, it now goes right back to the world choice map. Over and over again no matter what I hit but it is showing the household I had just made in the home I just chose. I have mods, but for this instance I did uninstall them and try again, no luck. I tried launching from desktop, steam, and EA. I have updated all my drivers, apps and then mods. Made sure there was no malware and tried launching and it all goes the exact same way, and then I am stuck in world choice. Over and over, no gameplay just world choice and that is all I get. I have tried to delete the app and then reinstall, I even looked into to doing the different update from before this recent patch just to see if that was the issue. And, yet... NO LUCK... Please someone help me.Atp do y'all even know what y'all fixing!!
ATP do y’all even know what y’all fixing?? All you people keep doing is mess the game up more than it already was. I can’t even play 10 mins without it freezing. Also, now I can barely even SAVE. Then when I relaunch it, it’s telling me I only got 3 expansion packs like I didn’t pay for ALL of them?? Y’all just breaking stuff on purpose atp. These ideas could have been towards the sims 5 or sum! [CM edit - profanity]
