cant ask a specific sim to be part of a wedding?
so i have the wedding stories pack and two of my sims are engaged. i'm trying to ask the groom's best friend to be the ring bearer but none of the options for wedding roles show up. i've tried asking with both the bride and groom ( who both have max friendship with him); for the groom, the activities menu shows up but the only option is to practice fighting and when i try with the bride, the activities tab doesnt even show up. i've also tried re-announcing the engagement to him with both sims, scheduling the wedding first THEN asking him, resetting the sim, repaired my game, deleted cache files and even removed all mods but nothing has worked. has anyone else experienced this and is there anything else i should be trying?my game is not loading or let me move my sims to a new lot
my game not loading it tells me it a error 801 . when I tried to place a home done from the gallery and when i tried to move my sims to a new lot and when I press go back and play the game it stop or goes to the loading screen of death. I do play with mods they are all up to date the game was working fine with them and i took the out too and I am still getting the error 801 code
Why child sim age up to teen sim be muscle?
The child sim just had his birthday, then he grew up and became a teenager, but his body was muscular without his skills. Why didn't the Sim get thin after age up? If teen sim's body muscular because his father's DNA already has muscle, right? but he doesn't have his skills Teen Sim must be thin, medium, or fat after ageing up because the teen Sim still doesn't have his skills. Because bug? How to make a Teen sim not become muscular after aging up Do you know a way? Or is there a mod?
Cannot Load Home Lot
So, I play with mods; I've done everything. I've done the 50/50 method; no results. I've cleared my cache; no results. I've removed all mods (down to CC) and tried loading it; no results. The issue? I cannot load the lot my family is living on. I started having infinite loading screens/crashes about 2 weeks ago in this save file; all my mods were up to date after the most recent update. It was working fine; I could play my Sims on their home lot with no problem. They travelled to a bar, I played there no problem, then I saved, and it crashed. I was frustrated but tried again; similar situation, it crashed. I loaded an earlier save when one of my Sims was at Willow Creek Hospital, and could play as her no problem, but when trying to switch to my other sim who was at the home lot/ or trying to send the sim home after, infinite loading screen. I've moved them to empty lots in other worlds, and they load into those fine, but this one lot (in San Sequoia) won't load under any circumstances. I've looked on Reddit, the forums, Facebook, everywhere possible for an answer - I really don't want this to be a corrupt save file situation because everything else about the file seems fine, but I worked hard on the house and want to download it and move it to a different lot if the lot itself is just a corrupt lot. It's a regular household lot. I have mods (they are all up to date, but have been taken out for now); I've repaired my game, uninstalled/reinstalled, updated drivers, loaded earlier files, moved the Sims before trying to enter build mode on that lot (through Manage Worlds), and NOTHING is working. TLDR: My Sims house lot won't load, can't figure out why, and I've done all the troubleshooting I can think of. If anyone can help or direct me to somewhere that can, it would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: I was frustrated trying to figure out the problem, so I ended up deleting the save files and going back to a previous save file that allowed me to load into my household. Here's the issue: while playing, I was able to travel, save, build, etc, no problem! But now, I tried to open my game again, and the same issue is happening. Keep in mind, the only changes I've made are restarting from an earlier save point (lost about 4 Sims days) and then exiting my game.
Urn mentions wrong name?
My sims friend died in a fire he started on my lot and I wanted to ‘release his spirit to Netherworld’ However, after clicking the option to do so, he spawns on my lot and the urn still has the option to release him- but, when hovering over the option it mentions my sims name when before it didn’t mention a name at all? Is there any way to fix this? I’ve tried reloading the game already.Still glitching since 5/12/26 update
Anyone else still having issues playing live mode and CAS? I don’t even use mods. I’m frustrated. Here is a list of things that have happened in my game recently since the update yesterday: Male sim glitches when playing as a parent. The child either clings to him weirdly or his action panel has multiple actions pop up and won’t stop adding to the queue. Sim newborn and toddler’s needs are being weird. For example, because the male sim glitches, I get the mom to do the task with the child instead. My child’s needs for fun and energy are “dangerously” low and I tried putting her to sleep and she won’t go to sleep. So I can’t get her energy bar to go back up. Also my nanny and butler were helping take care of the kids but then it started messing them up too. “Slenderman” child glitch is happening to my kid now when trying to do an action… ifykyk. CAS keeps popping into tutorial mode even though I don’t click it so I can’t add more sims or animals to my household in CAS. I like adding pond effects to my ponds and fountains like the swans, ducks, fireflies and dragonflies but for some reason, they aren’t showing now during live mode. They’re still there in the pond on build mode but not live mode. There are some other things but that’s pretty much the gist right now. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues or what do I do? I’ve repaired and cleaned out my cache multiple times. When my sim glitches like that I don’t even save the game and just exit it to try and restart where it was last saved but it still glitches pretty quickly after restarting the game. I do want to point out that I do use sims from the gallery that have max skills but says the creator didn’t use cc’s or mod’s, cause it’s easier when starting out a household imo. It takes too long for them to build the skills otherwise lol. The game was working fine up until late last night, eastern standard US time.
