'WWW' main menu bug & error code 102:457b7b46
It started with this "WWW" bug. When I try to load a game, it takes me to the worlds menu, allows me to choose a household, loads for 5 seconds, & takes me right back to the worlds menu. I uninstalled & reinstalled. I renamed "The Sims 4" folder within Documents' "Electronic Arts" folder - twice. Over and over, I've repaired & cleared the cache (App Recovery). I've tried removing "localthumbcache.package" & "avatarcache.package." I updated my MacBook Air. I removed all my mods & custom content, finding 2 corrupted files; still, I added them back in batches & everything was okay. I got it working & have no idea how, though it was short lived. After creating 1 sim, I chose the lot & it immediately gave me "error code 102:457b7b46," encouraging me to restart the game. (I've never seen this error before & after all my attempts to remedy "WWW," I've never seen it again.) Unsurprisingly, restarting didn't do anything helpful: I was returned to the "WWW" glitch. I saw a post from 6 years ago that indicated the error code was related to mods, but this "WWW" continues to occur when there are NO mods or custom content in my game. I am a total loss here, and, if you can't tell, SO desperate to fix this. If it helps, my game version is indicated in the bottom left of the screenshot. I have Horse Ranch Expansion, Toddler Stuff, Seasons, Romantic Garden Stuff, Parenthood, Kids Room Stuff, Jungle Adventure, Island Living, Growing Together, Get to Work, Dream Home Decorator, Discover University, and Cats & Dogs. Hello! I updated my game today after not opening it for a while, and I noticed various problems. When I first opened the game, I was welcomed by an unusual homepage. I tried enabling mods and getting into the game, but even after choosing an already existing game save, I found the map completely empty. Not only were my households missing, but also the default ones. In an attempt to check if I could at least make new ones, I also noticed that the game kept closing (not terminating, just reducing itself into a Taskbar icon). I managed to get into the CAS mode, and while randomly generating attributes for the Sim, the attributes disappeared. It didn't really cause any further problems, though. Once the Sim had its house and everything was set to start a new game, the game kept taking me to the Select a Map screen. I unabled the mods and closed the game, but nothing changed. This is my first time reporting, and my English is terrible, so I apologize in advance if this sounds incomprehensible. I hope I've made myself clear. It's a current issue I'm having and it doesn't matter if I have any mods on 'cause it happens anyway.😭 Everytime I try to pick up an infant or any other action about them, the sim is unable to do so: the action is renamed in "cradle the infant" no matter what it is and after about 30 sec the sim says they can't reach the infant (even if baby is on the ground literally in front of them). I even tried to hire a nanny hoping that she would be able to care for the child, but she ignores them complitely.💀 On the matter, I noticed that the same issue I have with the toddlers when it come to change their diaper. I tried everything I could think of: disabling the mods and deleting the most recent ones, repairing the game and serching for the cause of the error (btw I tried with an ai and it said that the lastexemption that comes up is realted to an error about put_down_sim_interactions.py and _adjust_location fuction). It doesn't help that it started malfunctioning mid game, it all working without any problem and then it was not. So, any idea how I could resolve it?😫

Hi everyone, I’m having a major issue with my Sims 4 game and I can’t seem to fix it no matter what I try. I play through Steam and use CurseForge for mods. The problem is that I can’t go into live play mode at all, and nothing in my game will save. And my start screen looks this? Here’s what I’ve already tried: Verified integrity of game files through Steam, Disabled all mods, Deleted all mods completely to start fresh ,Uninstalled and reinstalled the game, Tested both with and without mods Unfortunately, none of this has solved the problem. The game still won’t let me enter live play mode and refuses to save. Has anyone experienced this before, or does anyone know what else I can try? At this point I’m completely stuck and can’t play at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
I can't interact with my infants after the new update
I have figured out how to get my game to load in with every mod updated, however when I go into my family lot with my infants on their play mat it will not let me fix their needs or let alone pick them up. I have tried to repair my game to se if it helps but it didn't work. I also got a message saying that there were no adult sims around when the two parents were there. Please help.specific save stuck on loading loop- can’t get access to neighborhood menu
hi everyone :) i’ll preface this message by saying i do use cc/script mods. so sadly i believe my save file has been corrupted. when i go to load my most recent save from the main menu screen it gets stuck on a loading loop- i can’t even get to the neighborhood view. this is not happening with any of my other saves from before and after the most recent update. i’ll list the steps i have taken to try to resolve the issue - so far none have worked. tried to recover an earlier save (this did not work no matter how far i went back) I turned off all cc and script mods and went in to try again, still stuck on loading screen. same as step 2, but this time repaired the game and deleted my local thumb cache file. moved my mods folder out of my EA folder completely, deleted the cache again, went back into the game and same result. (also repaired the game again by this stage) uninstalled and reinstalled the game additionally, i have deleted any last exception .txt files. regardless of if this save loads again, the only thing i would really love is a way to recover my builds. this specific save folder is where i have done my best work lol. any help would be appreciated 🫶 thank you!
Script call failed when placing computers on lot
Hi there, After the recent update, anytime I place a computer, it automatically disappears, and "script call fail" pops up. I have removed my mods, repaired the game, vanilla tested and also updated all the mods I had. if anyone knowns of one I could have missed that causes this please help me out!
